The condo complex was dated and run down. Some units were ghetto looking. Our condo smelled of stale cigarettes. Burn holes in some of the furniture and bedding. Will not recommend or stay there again.
It was to be smoke free but it smelled so bad of smoke. There was papers and old food on the floors. The outside of the appliances were dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was very quite.
The apartment is an older building, but in an area which was easy to get to and easy to get to downtown Raleigh. I did have to clean the kitchen some before using. The pots had some food residue from a previous renter and there were some sticky spots on counters and tables. One thing which would help renters keep things clean would be to have more dish soap available, there was a small amount in the kitchen, but I had to go purchase dish soap to be able to clean our dishes after eating. The kitchen had eating utensils, etc. but if you are wanting to cook anything from scratch you will need to bring cooking equipment. Especially if you plan on using the oven. The only items we found for putting anything in the oven were some pizza pans and you will need to bring oven mitts in order to pull items safely from the oven. One of the reasons we decided on this property was that no pets were allowed. So we were a bit concerned when the posting in the apartment did mention animals were allowed with a service fee. We are not sure if the allergy issues members of our group were having were because animals had been in the apartment or just from NC allergens. We would have been more comfortable with a few more blankets. One of our kids opted to sleep on the couch instead of sharing the fold out bed with her brother. We had blankets we had brought along on our trip, but the blankets provided are only enough to have one on each bed.
Rented this property for Girls’ weekend! It was nice! No major complaints. The parking situation was a little sticky, visitor parking is hard to come by but the street is fine. Overall it was great.
Overall, great stay. Condo was very clean and the property manager had great communication. Only a few miles from downtown. The only downside is that you only get 1 parking spot for the condo.

The property is listed as a "condo" on vrbo site but is actually an apartment complex.
While the property is listed as a "condo" the property is located within what many would list as an apartment complex. This listing is located in an apartment complex called the "Driftwood Manor" which we believe has sixty (60) units within this complex. We arrived at the location with several college age individuals walking the property and surrounding properties. The "condo" is located within five (5) other similiar properties. We actaully left the property our first night due to the noise in the surrounding "condo's" and the overall area as our family did not feel safe. This is not a family friendly location. We realized later that this property is only two (2) miles from the campus of NC State which explained the number of college students around the complex. Be sure to read reviews under "Apartment Ratings" for Driftwood Manor to get a better idea on the property.

Customer satisfaction is our goal and we pride ourselves in providing a spacious, updated two bedroom condo, centrally located in Raleigh close to most attractions in the city.
Although our property is within two miles of NC State, there are very few students that reside here. This is an older established residential area.
Please look for our other reviews for further guidance.
Great location within 10 mins from downtown. Cozy and updated condo. Tom was great taking my call at 2 am because we were lost and needed directions. Will def stay again.
