Start a new tradition of a lifetime of vacation memories. This magnificent, new, 2500 square foot, three story home, is on the corner of Scenic Gulf Drive and just steps from the beach access that leads to the world’s most beautiful beaches!

This family friendly home features a third floor with 2 Master Suites, each with a private bathroom. Keep your smaller children close by in the separate bunk area. Escape to serenity in your third floor private sitting room equipped with a mini-wine cellar, or enjoy the breeze and sounds of the ocean on your gulf-view balcony.

The kids and teens can enjoy a 'Kid's Recreation Floor' with a private bedroom with a queen bed, a full-size sleeper sofa, 65" HD TV, movie library, video games, foosball, and a wide variety of board games. This walk-in level has a kitchenette with a full size fridge, sink, microwave and dining area, as well as a bathroom with a stand-up shower. These amenities could also be considered 'handicapped accessible.'

The main level on the second floor offers that great central meeting area, conducive for planning out tomorrow's adventures. Enjoy a home-cooked seafood feast or an afternoon snack in the fully equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with eat-at bar. Watch a family movie on the 65" with surround sound TV or tune the entire house, pool and courtyard to enjoy your own music, direct from your iPod or MP3 player. This level also includes a private queen-size bedroom, perfect for the in-laws, and a bathroom with stand-up shower as well as full-size sleeper sofa.

Enjoy your day of shopping, adventuring, site-seeing or beach-going on the '24 mile long ribbon of sparkling, snow-white beaches' of Destin, as voted the #1 'Beach Town/Resort' in the 2008 Southern Living 'Readers' Choice Awards,' January 2008 edition. Then relax in the lush landscaping of the private courtyard, reminisce over the day's events, take a dip, or just sit and listen to the home’s namesake “Neptune”, a wall-mounted fountain, as he emits his spray into the private heated lagoon pool. The pool is enclosed, separate from the courtyard, and the first floor doors alarm when opened.

Neptune’s Nook is located directly on the corner of Scenic Gulf Drive and Miami Street. The coastal town of Destin is known as the 'World's Luckiest Fishing Village' where the fresh catch of day can be enjoyed just up the street at great local restaurants such as 'Pompano Joe's,' 'Captain Dave's,' or 'The Whale's Tail.'

Great location. Access to the beach was so easy. The evenings sitting outside are a little loud but we found it entertaining to watch all the cars and golf carts go by.

Perfect spot for our girls trip. A huge success! Property was clean and right across the street from the beach. Host was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. Excellent location and will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect and beach access was directly across the street. The house allowed us and our 4 kids to have our own space upstairs, my MIL could stay on the bottom level and not walk the stairs, and my Dad to have his own space in the middle. We were already planning our next stay!

Neptune's Nook was the perfect beach house for our stay of 12 people. Plenty of room for everyone. Location is right in the heart of community and easy access to the beautiful beach. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely fabulous

This was a great vacation house for our family. We could all hang out together in one of 3 living rooms or find a quiet spot alone. Everything was very clean and the house was supplied with everything we needed. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling to the area. The best part is the location of the house… directly across the street from the private beach access gate. So convenient and easy!

Great, large house in a good location. It’s in the “center of it all” so you are close to the beach and close to some stores ect. With that, the main road gets busy, but the pool area is nicely fenced in and the business makes for some good people watching. Nice house in a nice area. Would stay again.

We were very impressed with the property especially the location to the beach access. We had everything we could possibly need and plenty of room for the entire extended family. Excellent house for a group with teenagers that like their own space! Highly recommend this property for your beach vacation!

Great home in a fantastic location!

Dale made the entire process from booking to check-out absolutely seamless! The house is perfectly situated directly across the street from beach access. Very clean, with all the comforts of home. Our family enjoyed people watching from the balcony when not on the beach or in the pool. The designated chairs on the beach were a nice surprise!

Neptune's Nook made our Destin family vacation very enjoyable

An amazing stay in a great location! Everything was perfect, very clean, wonderful decor, easily accessible to the beach, the perfect place for a family. The grandkids loved having a pool to dip into after a day in the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our meals. The beds were comfy, and my grandsons loved the bunk beds! There were beach accessories available to use as well. Dale was super accommodating, and his response to any questions I had was always very quick. Just a wonderful and safe place!

Perfect Location

This house was perfect for Spring Break 24! House was spotless. Everything you need was provided. Beautifully decorated. Teens enjoyed having their “own area” on the first floor with games, mini kitchen with full size fridge. We paid for the pool heat and it was well worth it as some days in April are a bit chilly. The homeowners are extremely helpful and responsive. I would stay here again and highly recommend this property!

We absolutely loved this house. We always stay right on the beach and were afraid because we were across the street. Honestly, I did not mind it one bit. The only problem we encountered was that every time we used the oven the smoke alarm went off. But I will recommend this house over and over again.

Absolute Perfection

I am not sure where to even begin…. This has been the BEST experience. We typically rent beach houses anywhere from 5-6 times/year and we all agree- this is best ever! Location= perfect House= perfect Communication =perfect Pool= perfect Literally everything was a dream. My teenagers loved biking and being able to walk or bike to shops, ice cream, coffee, and several great restaurants My 5 year old loved the pool and the bunk beds We also had my brothers 3 month old infant and it was ideal right by the beach (literally steps) to bring her in and out. Even my mother loved everything about it. We all had plenty to do and our own space as well as perfect places to have family meals and game night. We will 100% rent again and recommend.

This house is right across from the beach which was awesome! It also included 2 chairs and an umbrella set up everyday of the trip on the beach. Had a perfect size pool for the kids to have fun in when not at the beach. Also, right next door to a coffee shop and pizza place.

Great location if you're looking to be right in the mix! The balconies provide endless hours of people watching. House was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed that there was separate living areas where people could escape to read, watch TV or nap besides bedrooms.

Family Vacation

We loved Neptune’s Nook! We’ve been vacationing in Destin for many years and this property was the nicest we’ve ever stayed at. The size was perfect for our group of 12. We spent most of our days on the beach which is right across the street from the house. It was an easy walk to and from the beach and we could easily walk back to the house if we needed anything. The kids enjoyed the heated pool, which was great after a long day at the beach. The location is perfect and very close to everything you need. The house is well maintained and clean. It’s obvious that the owners take pride in the home and are were accommodating with any of our needs. Also, I have never stayed at a property where beach service with two chairs and an umbrella was included. This is something I’ve always had to pay extra for so we really appreciate this amenity. I definitely recommend this house for anyone vacationing with a large group.

Great location!!

Our family and some extended family stayed here for a wedding event being held on the beach. The house was clean and spacious. The kids enjoyed the pool and would rather have stayed there than the beach. The location was great as it was across the street from private peach access and having chairs at the beach every day was amazing!! My favorite place to go was bad ass coffee!! The line was sooo worth it! I would definitely recommend this place for a great family vacation! Thanks Dale

Better than the pictures

Neptune’s Nook was better than expected! Upon arrival, we found the property to be clean and beautifully decorated! It also felt much bigger in person! We slept 8 adults, 1 teen, 1child, and two toddlers very comfortably with room to spare. With three seating areas, everyone had a place to go, but could also be together all at one time. The kitchen furnishings accommodated all of our cooking needs as we cooked and ate at the home for every meal. We were all able to eat at the dining table combined with the bar seating for every meal as well! Two fridges allowed us to store more items more efficiently and with more convenience. The home sits in a prime location in the neighborhood. Being the corner house, you can walk out of the door, across the crosswalk and arrive at the beach access in less than a minute. Alvins Island, Dairy Queen, a gas station and a coffee shop are also within short walking distance. The property has its own outdoor shower as well, so if you don’t get to use the shower at the beach access or need to wash off more, you can in the courtyard of the home. We also did not suffer from any excessive noise from the street outside at night. The home remained quiet during sleeping hours. We were able to park a large truck and 3 smaller vehicles without a problem. Check in and check out was a breeze, we had no need to call the owners for anything! Future guests should consider the amount of stairs (three floors) the property has before booking. We had grandparents with bad knees with us, and although we tried to accommodate them as best we could, some stairs were just unavoidable. Also, like most beach access, their was also a good amount of stairs down to the beach. I am not reviewing this fact as a negative, more as a tip for families carrying people who have trouble with stairs. Our grandparents were very pleased with the home and want to stay here again in spite of all the stairs, but it is something to consider. Also, no tents are allowed on the beach. Umbrellas are permitted. Overall we hope to stay at this property again! We had a great time on vacation!
