About this property
Great ski in/ ski out mountain cabin for families or friends
This lovely, rustic mountain home feels secluded and private, but is close to everything Breckenridge has to offer. Town, with all its shopping, dining, bars and grocery stores is just minutes away. We like the City Market just down the hill, and have developed a fondness for Giampietro's pizza... We have high-speed wireless internet (175mps) and are happy to accommodate longer stays. Enjoy the deck for great views and BBQs... you may even spot a munching moose! The house is cosy and full of character (and a few quirks)! There are a lot of stairs so please be aware of that when booking! The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and eating together. And there are plenty of comfy beds for the whole gang! In winter months, ski in and out on Four O'Clock run right across the street. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding are also close by - visit the Breckenridge Nordic Center for rentals and trail maps. Or simply snuggle up at the wood-burning stove and enjoy watching the world go by. In warmer weather, hiking trails are right outside, and biking and fishing are all around too. The Frisco Marina offers paddleboard and kayak rentals and a beach for family fun.

Great property for a few families. SuperCommunicative hosts and room for everybody- on mountain but also right downtown. Highly recommend for family or friend gathering!
Everything was lovely! The house is perfect, location is central but also tucked back so you feel like you are in the trees. 10/10 would stay here again.
This home worked very well as a quick weekend getaway for our family. Carin is extremely responsive and accommodating and the home has everything you might need. The location is beautiful and exactly as described. Definitely recommend!
Excellent experience, very clean and comfortable house with an amazing ski in/ski out location. Great communication and flexibility with the host as well
This property was perfect for our family. It's very close to the snowflake lift and a 1 minute walk to 4 o'clock ski run. The house had every amenity that we required. It's a dead end street, so there is no through traffic. We would definitely book this location again.
We loved staying in the Lazy Moose Lodge!! Easy walk down to town. Easy ski in and ski out on 4 o'clock to snowflake lift. Everything was as stated, communication with Carin was great, she is super helpful with recommendations, etc. Would definitely return!!
We wanted somewhere that was “ski in/out” since we had our 16 mo old daughter and would be skiing in shifts. This place fit the bill. The owner was super communicative and even had baby gates delivered ahead of our arrival when I asked about it. We loved the location and would definitely stay here again!
This was an awesome ski in/ski out home with very convenient location to 4 o clock run and snowflake lift. To be honest, the pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s large and was able to fit our group of 9 VERY comfortably. Everyone had an amazing time and this place was perfect for our trip. Carin is extremely communicative and offered us great suggestions and tips before and during our stay. We will absolutely stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for the kind words. We’d love to have you back!
The house was spacious and had lots of cubies which made it great for storing everyone’s gear. The set up was great for two families with older teens/adults. It was stocked and a great location. Having separate temperature controls was a great feature. Great views. We plan on renting again in the future!
Quiet location, Great view of the Town Valley and surrounding mountains. I wish we would have slowed down to enjoy the sunrise. Walk up the driveway and cross road, there is the 4 O'clock Ski run. A short distance down is the Snowflake Lift back across the road. 4 O'clock is an easy finish to the skiing day. We loved the Nordic Ski Center an easy four minute drive.
Rebound Pool at night was good family fun.

Thanks Bruce! We were very happy to have you! You’ll have to come back to enjoy the sunrise 🌅
This is our fourth trip to Breck in the last five years. All of our stays have been off of the 4 o’clock run. This property was perfect. It is uphill of the Snowflake Lift and a very short walk to the 4 o’clock run. It is very spacious. The pictures do not do it justice. There is tons of room. The two car garage is a game changer. It didn’t snow a ton when we were there so we used the garage to store our skis and ski bags. The views from the main/family room are great. Very bright and sunny.. overall outstanding and we’d definitely stay here agin
The property was great with an excellent location and awesome views. There was plenty of room for two families. The only reason I did not give five stars is because we encountered a rodent problem we had to deal with the last couple of days. Our teenage girls had to sleep in the living room the last night. I made the owner aware and my understanding is the problem was going to be taken care of after we left.

The rodent problem has been dealt with. We appreciate your help in bringing it to our attention so we could address it quickly. Glad you enjoyed the stay otherwise!
The property has excellent accommodation for 2 families with children/teens. We were a party of 8 but there would have been plenty of room for 10 as listed. The Four O' Clock ski trail is just across the quiet road where you can ski down to the Snowflake chairlift (just don't miss the sign posting for the lift!) During our visit the Snowflake lift opened at 8:30am which allowed enough time to ride up and then ski down to the ski school at Peak 8 for the 8:45/9am start time. At the house there was plenty of room at the table to seat 8 of us for dinner and the living room area also had plenty of seating. The garage is attached so is a perfect place to leave ski equipment at the end of the day. It was lovely having puzzles and games to play with too. Checkin and checkout were both very easy and owners very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thanks for the nice note! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay!
The space was perfect for our family. Lots of room and a well-equipped kitchen. As noted in the description, there are LOTS of stairs so be prepared for a bit of a work-out in the altitude. It was a quick walk across the street and then a short ski to the nearest lift. The only negative was that if you're there in the winter and have more than one car, be prepared to do your own shoveling if it snows. We ended up shoveling upwards of 10 inches which I find unacceptable given the cost of this rental. There's room for multiple cars in the driveway but you need to take those cars into town to park and wait for the plow to come if you want it plowed. Otherwise, you're on your own!
The BEST property. You can walk down the hill to get to Main Street. The house has 5 mini levels so everyone has their space. It’s gorgeous and comfy. Hosts were amazing. Kitchen has everything you need and the beds were perfect. THERES A MOOSE! he hung out behind the house and we were just in awe. Loved loved loved our stay and our hosts!
We loved this property. Great communication with host. The kitchen had everything you would need to stay in and cook for your family or friends. Very close to town for a quick trip in to shop or eat. The ski in/ ski out ( to the Snowflake Chair) was better than we expected. After skiing we would put the skis in the garage and go back and watch all the skiers/boarders come back in. The set up of the house if perfect for many because of the levels. You could get in an afternoon nap and it was quiet. The view is the BEST! Plus I saw two moose one early morning, while looking out the deck. Thank you
