Welcome to the Wine Down Retreat on beautiful Seneca Lake! We are situated right on the wine trail with so many wineries around and gorgeous views of the lake. This place is perfect for family vacations, friend getaways, stay-cations, work from home alternatives, and much, much, more.
This 4 bedroom home has it all.

Lots of new furniture and amenities round out this banger of a home.
Boasting 2 decks, large brand new dock, boat hoist, plus amazing lake views from the beautiful spacious boathouse deck.

Enjoy the sunrises from the dock or take a dip from the shallow entry ways to the lake that we offer. Enjoy some s'mores around the firepit, go kayaking, fishing, or paddle boarding. All included in your stay!

We’ve partnered with our friends at Hot Roc Sauna to bring this one of a kind experience directly to you. A perfect addition to your stay, the barrel sauna is fully self-contained and

Come enjoy Seneca Lake and let us take care of the rest!
The dock has a boat hoist for use during your stay. The hoist is only for speed boats. If you wish to moor your boat or pontoon, please return it to the marina to avoid damaging the dock.

Additionally, we have a separate 2 person cottage rental affixed to the garage at this location. The dock is the only shared space for both places and they are not permitted to other waterfronts areas such as firepit or decks. As always, please be courteous and kind to all neighbors and renters alike. The 2 person cottage can be rented to your entire party if you need more room. Our group had a lovely stay at this home. It’s in a great location and close to all of the wineries we wanted to stop by during our stay. The house is gorgeous and even better in person than the pictures shown! We had all of the cooking utensils and towels we needed for the weekend. Easy check in and check out process as well. Overall a great stay and would gladly stay here again with a big group!

Great location and quiet

We loved being close to Geneva. We went to Belhurst Castle for massages and lunch right up the road! It was so private and quiet. Kitchen was well appointed. The only recommendation i could make would be black out shades in the bedrooms and shades on the porch. We had beautiful weather, and the sun pours in at 5 a.m.

Family fun in the fingerlakes!

This was our first time visiting lake Seneca and definitely not our last! The house was incredibly clean and stocked well! Each bedroom had a ceiling fan and oscillating fan which was a huge plus for us. The water was crystal clear which was a pleasant surprise and the dock was made out of a great material so it was never hot! The location was perfect! SO close to everything. The host was easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner. Beautiful home.

Family Vacation

Great place for a summer family vacation. House was well equipped for our teens and young twenties kids. We brought our boat, Roy’s marina is 1 mile away. We enjoyed the sunrises, the wineries, Watkins Glenn & the water. Extra large table was perfect for family dinners. Grill is also really big. 2nd refrigerator was great to keep our beverages cold.

We enjoyed a week together on the lake. House was perfect for our grown children- everyone had their own bed. Table was nice and big for family meals. Loved the covered porch overlooking the lake.

Lovely property! Perfect for family with teens

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful home. The layout is great for a family with older kids (lots of space for everyone). There are some steep stairs down to the waterfront, but there are railings along the way. The water views from the porch and windows are spectacular. The hosts were very friendly, attentive, and easy to work with.... we would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. Not only is the house beautiful but it had so much to offer. Loved the multiple decks. Stephenie was a great host! Beautiful House

Would definitely recommend staying here! The lake in your backyard is extremely convenient and the kayak and paddle board are free to use from the hosts! There were three balconies/docks that had amazing lake views.

Hello friends, my name is Stephenie and I am the proud owner of the Wine Down Retreat, Oasis, and Bungalow on beautiful Seneca Lake. My family and I are long time residents of upstate NY and love the (FLX) finger lakes region! Spending time relaxing, unwinding, and socializing while enjoying a favorite bottle of wine around good family and friends is one of my greatest joys. When I'm not doing that, usually you can find me busy and involved with my three children and their sports and activities. I really enjoy coaching, physical activity of all kinds, and cooking. On the weekends I enjoy local races of some sort, a fitness class, or enjoying a new restaurant anywhere! My career in real estate allows me to see the offerings a home can be for others and for that, I'm so happy to share some of our home with all of you.

Why they chose this property

Seneca Lake is special to our family and why we chose to purchase here. We have been annual renters ourselves every summer on the lakes since our children were born and looked forward to that vacation year after year. Our decision to make it a permanent purchase was to be able to share our excitement of the FLX region with all of you.

What makes this property unique

The Wine Down Retreat on Seneca Lake has 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom on the main floor. The layout comfortably sleeps 9-10 people. The floor plan is open and allows for lots of entertaining and enjoyment of lake views. There are several Roku TV's, continuous wi-fi throughout the home, games, and books as well. Washer, dryer, and several kitchen appliances will make you feel right at home. We have several beds, futons, and ample seating inside and out. Grab a seat on our shaded upper deck and watch the boats go by or gather with friends and family and make memories. Our newly built boat house deck (second deck) is perfect for sunning and socializing. The water is shallow almost 10 feet out from the 30 ft dock and perfect for dipping your toes in. Have a picnic at the table or roast some s'mores by the firepit on our lower landing. Need more space? We also have a bungalow on the property, a completely separate guesthouse apartment rental from this main home where you can host two more guests who may need additional privacy.
