About this property

Ocean front home on Duxbury Beach

Enjoy the incredible beauty of Cape Cod Bay from this charming 3-bedroom beach house. Marvel at sunrises over the ocean from the enclosed porch and sunsets over the marsh from the upstairs sunroom. Direct access to a private beach great for swimming, water sports, fishing, birdwatching, and more. HOWEVER, THE SEAWALL IS BEING REBUILT IN 2025 AND WILL BE TALLER. WE ARE TOLD THAT CONSTRUCTION OF THE WALL BEHIND OUR HOME WILL BE APPROXIMATELY JUNE 6 - 20TH WITH OTHER PARTS OF THE WALL CONTINUING TO BE CONSTRUCTED THROUGH SEPTEMBER 8TH. WE CANNOT GUARRANTEE THAT WE WILL BE ALLOWED TO SECURE STAIRS TO THE NEW WALL IN 2025. Walking distance to public entrance to Duxbury beach and Powder Point Bridge. Near-by restaurants in Duxbury, Green Harbor, and Brant Rock. Reservations are Saturday to Saturday only during the Summer.

Best location

We use to own a house in this area and after renting other houses in different locations, we were happy to return to this location where you are right on the beach. No long walk to get to the water. Brought back great memories for my daughters. It’s a great little neighborhood and I hope it remains that way.

The best location!

We loved staying out at the beach! The location is unbeatable, there is nothing like being able to walk out your back door onto the beach. The house is clean and cozy and packed with beds so there’s plenty of room. Owners were super communicative and helpful!

Best place for family’s with kids!

This place is perfect for family’s with kids of all ages. We had a mixed group, and It worked amazingly. The little kids played right in the yard, or on the beach. While the big kids could venture off on their own, while the grandparents relaxed in the screened in porch. The beach stairs can be difficult, if someone is not too steady on their feet, or a small child. The house had “everything” we needed, for a family trip including games, beach towels, chairs, picnic table, a washer and dryer , and beach/ yard toys. It was a little noisy for sleeping in with no carpets and a bunch of kids, but with the crashing surf who can complain! FYI the horse flys were really bad but we knew to bring bug spray from previous stays in the area! Loved it!
