Lakefront Cottage with Lighthouse and Dock on Lake Winnipesaukee

Enjoy a family vacation at the Lake in the privacy of your own cottage relaxing on a wide front porch beside the water's edge or on one of the secluded side decks or spacious docks. The property is conveniently located yet surprisingly private. The 1934 camp has been upgraded to offer modern amenities while preserving its vintage charm. Enjoy 200 ft of private shoreline, lighthouse, dock, and swimming area.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Two of bedrooms have king-size tempurpedic beds and the third has a full-size bed. There's also a pullout couch on the first floor. The first floor has a beautiful kitchen, a spacious living room, large, glassed-in/screened-in porch, an outdoor grilling deck off the kitchen and a second outdoor deck on the opposite side of the house so you can enjoy sun or shade any time of the day. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, range and refrigerator. There is a washer and dryer in the basement.

Located on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire's largest lake, and only minutes away from many superb restaurants and attractions of the Lakes Region. Nearby attractions include Weir's Beach - a large sandy beach and boardwalk and home of MS Mount Washington cruise ship, Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion - an outdoor concert amphitheater, and Gunstock Mountain - a recreational area where you can experience a zipline tour, mountain coaster, and scenic lift rides.

Great, quite place!

Owners were very responsive and helpful, couldn’t have asked for better! Great house in a quiet area, plenty of room to relax on the various patio’s & deck. The only challenge is the the one bathroom but hey, we had fun “assigning” bathroom time slots!

Our third summer stay at Brian and Elizabeth's lakefront home was just as we'd hoped. We love the water, the dock with dining area, the porch with gorgeous sunsets, the large kitchen, and very comfortable bedrooms. The owners are very responsive (quickly attending to a missing remote), are thoughtful with amenities for guests, and are friendly, wonderful people. Always wish we could stay longer!

great house, great property. loved the dock, close to stores if you need them. great place if you just want to go and stay there, but if the kids/grandkids want to go to the tourist stuff, it's very close. we really enjoyed it, second year in a row, hope we can do it again next year.

Great house in great spot. Easy to get to, clean classic NH lakefront house with great enclosed porch overlooking the lake, spacious piece of property. Close to all the attractions for those who want them and great place with nice, spacious dock, private beach area to hang out, swim, boat, paddle board for those who just want that. The right place

It was refreshing with so many condos on this lake to find a private lake house with a wonderful location and privacy all to its own . Brian and Elizabeth answer texts and were great hosts . We have enjoyed family vacations with our kids since they were small and now continue to share that with them and our three grandchildren. Would recommend.

Perfect lake vacation house

My family and I had a wonderful week here. The house was well equipped and comfortable. It’s in a convenient location and felt very private even though there are condos next door. It was quiet and clean. The house has a very spacious with a large kitchen, livingroom and screen porch overlooking the lake with a perfect view of the sunset. We loved it and hope to come back every summer! Brian and Elizabeth left a welcome not and a bottle of wine which was so sweet! It was hard to leave!

Waterfront Delight

Our family of 6 adults enjoyed our week at this wonderful lakefront property. The docks and dining patio near the water, as well as a beach entry, make the waterfront enjoyable for everyone. Our favorite spot is the porch for dinner and sunsets. The home is very clean, updated, and comfortable, and we like the big kitchen for preparing big vacation meals. The owners are friendly and responsive, and clearly care about keeping their place in top condition. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Week...

My family had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. Super clean and comfy. Amazing lake views and access. Docks, decks and private beach were awesome. Numerous amenities. Seemed like everything we needed was right there for us. We rented a pontoon boat locally and had a blast. Owners, Brian and Elizabeth were accessbile and made sure every detail was thought through. We could see just how much this home means to them and their family and were very happy to be a part of the tradition and make some memories of our own.

Picturesque Cabin Getaway on Paugus Bay

My family of 4 enjoyed our week away at this lovely home. The property was surprisingly private considering that there are condos in back and to the side. It was a good size for our small family and occasional guests with 3 bedrooms upstairs (2 king sized beds and 1 queen) and a pullout couch (that we didn't end up using). We spent most of our time on the beautiful enclosed front porch overlooking the lake or at the table under the umbrella on the nice, new dock. The inside of the house was very neat, clean, and perfectly decorated in lakehouse style with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen was upscale with granite and new cabinets and well stocked with everything we needed. There is only one bathroom and it is quite small, but it was nicely renovated with granite, hardwood, and a gorgeous custom shower and worked fine for our small group. We had a couple hot nights since there is no AC, but the hosts provided a power full fan for each room, and the first floor living room and porch had ceiling fans to keep air circulating. Paugus Bay was very rough at times of high boat traffic (mostly on the weekend and some afternoons) which made it a little difficult to swim or paddle board, but there is a nice little sandy beach next to the lighthouse that we spent time at. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had thought of most everything before we arrived, so we didn't need to reach out with any questions during our stay. Overall, it was a very nice property that we would definitely stay at again.
