This cozy Smith Cove lakefront pine paneled cottage is ideal for two. Steps away from the dock and private beach.

Floor plan is studio-style with one large open room with queen bed, hardwood floors, full kitchen, private bath and enclosed front porch with lake view. Private bath with shower. Kitchen equipped with full size range and refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. You'll enjoy the sunny front porch with table and chairs for two. It's the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, sunsets, board games and your favorite book. linens, towels, toiletries not provided 8.5% tax included, dock not included.

It is possible to book for less than 7 nights if available. Please reach out to the property owner by inquiring before booking. Pets are allowed with prior approval from the owner with a nightly fee of $25.

Cozy Lakefront Cottage

Tiny but pleasant

The setting is very, very nice and the beach is fantastic. Just be aware that it's very small and you need to bring *everything* except plates, glasses and utensils. Bob is a great host!

A Hidden Gem

Loved, loved, Loved staying at the little Papoose Cottage. Just big enough for me and my pup. Very charming, quiet setting, the little beaches were awesome as was the covered pier which is a great place to have morning coffee or afternoon drink and watch the boats go by. Will definitel return!

Location,location, location. Dealing with Bob, the owner, was a pleasure. Not so much Vrbo. If I'm going to shell out a lot of money for someone or someplace that I've never seen before, I would appreciate it to be able to talk with a real person first.

Small but Grand

This small cottage at Smith Cove is a real gem for a romantic getaway. My wife and I enjoyed or 23rd anniversary in this beautiful and quiet setting. It has it's own private beach and a great view of the lake. We are already planning a trip back.

Vacation!

Place was peaceful and close to everything Laconia and the Lakes Region has to offer. Our cabin was small but suited us perfectly. Neighbors were very friendly and sweet. Even got a boat ride with one of the other cabin renters. Very nice couple. I would def pack toilet paper, paper towels, and whatever kitchen bags, aluminum foil ect for your stay. I anticipated this and was happy to shop and bring home the extra, but depends on the person. They have everything else for cooking ware. Great water pressure for shower too! The bed is pretty soft so if you bring a pillow top it's much better. But it's so great!! Beach is absolutely perfect!! Community as well!! Loved our stay. Thank you Bob!! Thank you Neighbors!!

Smith’s Cove

Owners Bob and Maria Ruggiero, purchased this lakefront property on Smith Cove in the 1990s and renovated the Victorian into a 10-room inn. Additional accommodations are available to inn guests in the Lighthouse and Little House on the Cove. They have hosted many guests looking for a getaway to enjoy their quiet and lovely lakefront location and casual, relaxing atmosphere. During the last 20+ years, they have built their own home and purchased neighboring cottages to provide vacation rentals to those looking for more privacy and room to relax during longer stays.

This Smith Cove vacation rental is located on a quiet part of New Hampshire's largest lake where boat speeds are limited to allow for lakefront relaxation. The surrounding grounds are owned by the cottage owner and are kept in immaculate condition. This cottage is located just minutes from Bank of NH Pavilion and Weirs Beach attractions and restaurants.
