Lovely property and excellent location

Stayed with family and everyone loved it, teens included! The views were amazing - including some spectacular moonrises - but it was also very convenient being so close to the stores in Freeport. We brought SUP’s and the paddling was great. And the first floor bedroom was perfect for my mother. Plenty of room to spread out, and enough space to have multiple cooks in the kitchen, both of which are very important for a smooth-going family vacation!

Exploring Freeport and Portland

The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our week exploring the surrounding area's of hiking, antiquing and browsing the little shops within the local towns! Spent time at the farmers mkt in Brunswick and purchasing local. Enjoyed a few foodie spots- Erica's Seafood-best lobster roll with an ocean view and the Schoolhouse 1913. ( dinner was delicious and staff was charming). The week was relaxing and the area is beautiful. It was a fun relaxing week!

Great view and comfortable house

Enjoyed our stay at The Heron House. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all of our family. The backyard water view was beautiful and pleasantly surprised by the about 10ft tidal change in water level. Used the full kitchen and outdoor grill. It was a bit hot and humid in the bedrooms. Would have been nice to have air conditioning there too!

Cousins trip

Our annual cousins trip (we pick a destination city each year to meet). This Freeport ME home was a gem of a find! Beautiful views! About a10 minute drive into Freeport, grocery stores, restaurants.....(& home of L.L.Bean and lots of shops in a quaint little town). Portland was an easy drive away. A beautiful and clean home (as in the photos). Sue, the owner was easy to work with as well. One note I would give a renter is....there are 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths but, on different floors (up stairs has the big master en-suite, and 2 bedrooms share a hall bath, down stairs has a smaller master with attached bath.... and the 4th bath is a hall bath). Overall this home worked wonderful for our group of 6. Situated on a beautiful lot overlooking the water in a quiet neighborhood with lots of walkers. Stunning!

The ocean bay view was amazing. Sue was a great host and the house was well maintained with an accurate listing. Definitely worth the value! Great time had by my party, that wouldn’t have been possible without Sue’s amazing place.

Perfect for our needs

The house and surroundings were beautiful. Gorgeous view of the Bay; we could just seat and look at it for hours. Very relaxing. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen; everything worked as expected. Comfortable rooms. We highly recommend this property.
