This rental is one of our three houses within walking distance of Schroon Lake Hamlet. Snowmobile trails close by, 25 minutes from Gore Mountain, walk out on the lake for ice fishing!!!

Enjoy this family retreat year around. This Chalet is one of THREE rentals on the property. The Chalet sleeps 6. A short walk to stores, churches, restaurants and the skiing at the Town run sledding/skiing slopes on the Golf Course is just around the corner. Toasty warm Chalet after a fun winter's day.

Chalet was perfect

Cute chalet had everything we needed. Open common area, deck overlooking the lake, small sandy beach and dock, easy walk into town. We had a great time swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding in the lake. Lots of nice hikes nearby. Our dogs loved the lake and the property too!

Schroon Lake

We had a nice stay. The cottage has everything you need. It is located very close to town. I wished they had shoveled the porch (We ended up doing that.) so I could sit outside in the morning with my tea, but maybe most people don't want to do that in the winter. The house would be an excellent place to stay in the summer.

Family retreat

Everything was just as described and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and our hosts. The house was just beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The scenery was amazing, it was so peaceful just watching the activity of the ice fisherman on the lake. Everything we needed was close by including a really awesome pub Flanagans- a must try great food and atmosphere. The start were so nice. Wonderful family weekend retreat. Would recommend the Chalet and Paul and Cathy and we will definitely go back.

The Chalet offers a cozy atmosphere and beautiful views of the lake. This house is convenient to lake, golf, stores, and has all the conveniences of home. Gore Mountain is 25 minutes away. The house is within walking distance of stores, restaurants and the lake.

What makes this property unique

The main house (#169543) has room for 10; the Chalet (#194658) room for 6 and the new house (#3827122) room for 8 (3 bedrooms and a pullout couch). It's a great getaway for a family, family reunion, and friends.
