The cabin delivers as advertised. It is right on the waters edge, providing great views. And an easy walk to town if you want to stroll Minocqua. Quiet and peaceful in late September.
It was a cute tiny cabin that is perfect for smaller families. We spent Labor Day weekend at the cabin and brought our boat and went on the Minocqua chain. We spent a lot of time fishing off the dock catching endless blue gills, bass and perch. Our 3 girls fell in love with fishing even more, because of this trip. All of the neighbors in the cabins next door were very welcoming and helpful with anything. The girls even loved the playground. It was more updated than the pictures had led me to believe. So that was a nice surprised :) We are happy that it was also cooler weather at night because there is no AC which we knew, but worked out greatly.
This is a nice small cabin. It is small and I cannot imagine more than 4 people staying here because there's not much room in the cabin. But it is right on the water, has good parking for cars, boats and boat trailers. Beds were decent, a little soft but I like a very firm mattress. Bathroom is small with minimal storage and the shower is very small but, overall, it was clean. All kitchen utensils - flatware, dishes, pans, Weber grill - were not clean and we had to wash everything before using them. Overall, the cabin was clean and comfortable but small.
This is a small minimalist cabin (although we were thankful for working cable TV). There isn't much room in the cabin, and the furniture and beds are old, but it's perfect that it's on the lake and you can park your boat out front. We didn't spend much time in the cabin, so it worked for us.
We loved this property! It had everything we needed for our too short, long weekend stay. The doc was perfect for fishing and the fall colors were breathless. I had several questions and the owner was very responsive and great to work with! We will definitely be back.
Best location for hiking and being near town while on a wonderful lake. Cabin is small but acceptable. Floors could be cleaner. Love the setting right on the water, great fire pit, kitchen was well equipped. No tv (fine by me) And there are space heaters for chilly nights. Felt a bit like a fire trap with extension cords everywhere. We did enjoy our stay immensely but don’t expect posh. It’s basic.
Overall nice, but small. 3 adult males found it quite tight. Best for young, small family. Good location. Friendly neighboring renters.

Amazing Cottage
This was an amazing cottage in the perfect location on the lake. It was a cozy place that had all necessities. Loved having our own little place to swim and dock the boat. There were fans for each room. Plenty of kitchen utensils. It would have been nice to have bath towels as we were flying, but we knew in advance, so it was not a big deal.
The biggest issue I had was communication with the property manager. I had to ask multiple times for the check in instructions. There was also no manual as they said. I had no information on the Wifi, even after repeated requests. There was also no cable TV available. You can tell it is hooked up, but it kept saying channels would be available shortly (left on for 3 hrs, no service).
Overall, amazing place with great value. We would definitely stay again! We loved watching the 4th of July fireworks from the dock!
