Great location, very close to shops and dining options. Didn’t sleep well, the beds were a bit on the hard side. Kitchen knives are very dull if you are cooking at home. Otherwise great !

Perfect location & reasonable stay. Home could use a few updates/fixes (ie. tighten the screws on dining room chairs, update the twin beds, some additional items in the kitchen, definitely more dinner plates), but nothing we couldn’t look past. We also wish there was grilling utensils for the community grills, it would have been an ideal option for dinners.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are not typically condo renters and do prefer a private home. Our experience was awesome and we would certainly stay there again. The only real thing that could use attention is the beds were not very comfortable.

We are happy you enjoyed your stay in Ocean One 207 and appreciate your feedback on the unit. The recent "Ocean One Exterior Renovation Project" has really enhanced the experience of staying at Ocean One compared to previous years. Thank you for relaying the information about the Shower Door that is leaking. We will have that looked at and see what we need to do to get that resolved. The King Mattress and Box Springs were replaced about 9 months ago around the same time that some new living room furniture, dining room table and a new patio set were added. In addition, the carpet was cleaned during the spring just prior to the kickoff of the rental season. Regardless, we will check that out as well during the next vacancy.

TOTAL relaxation

The location of the unit was absolutely PERFECT! The unit was as stated. Some of the decor is dated, but is easily overlooked. The view from the balcony was amazing. It provided a great space for breakfast, remote work, reading or simply watching the waves. We only gave cleanliness 3 stars due a few small things we came across during our stay. They did not require notifying management as we were able to take care of them ourselves. Coligny Beach has become more crowded over the years. We chose to rent chairs and an umbrella from the life guards! So they were set up for us each day. We would definitely visit this unit again!

A fall escape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Hilton Head for over 20 years, usually during the winter months. And, on most of those occasions, we have rented a condo at Ocean One. #207 was a comfortable, generally well-appointed 2-bedroom condo facing the ocean. However, maintenance work on the outside of the complex restricted our ability to use the decks during the majority of our stay. As my wife and I are both nearing 80, and have difficulty walking distances, having restricted access to the decks was unfortunate. Although Seashore made us aware of the work being done on the building, and did give a slight pricing discount, we were surprised by how restrictive this work on our use and enjoyment of the condo.
Response from VrboOwner on 29 Oct, 2024
Thank you for your feedback. The Ocean One Exterior Renovation Project has caused some disruptions since it began. Fortunately, the majority of the work on the building itself has now been completed with the exception of some "Punch List" items. During the winter of 2024/2025 the final phase of the phases of the project will take place. The old pool deck will be removed and replaced plus a new boardwalk over the sand dunes to the beach will be constructed which will wrap up the project in time for Spring and Summer. The new and improved Ocean One will then be on full display for all to enjoy.

Disappointing Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th visit to Ocean One and we love everything about the complex and location. We were very disappointed in the condo. Although the living room and dining room furniture was updated the rest of the condo really needs some money put into it. Master bedroom bed is extremely uncomfortable and low to the ground. Master bathroom desperately needs to be updated. Comforters are old and need to be replaced.Kitchen was the most disappointing- rugs were dirty. Kitchen was not stocked AT ALL! Everything was old, plates were chipped, pans need to be replaced. Putting some money into this place would really go a long way. We would not rent this unit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The facility itself is very nice and well kept however as for the Condo the toaster only toasts one side as one set of elements are broken, the dryer function select knob is broken and it is hard to tell which function you are selecting, the filtered water dispenser does not work, the bed pillows have no pillowcases and are dirty, the first bed in the second bedroom is not secured to the base and tips if sat on and the master bed is worn out, hard and very uncomfortable. Thanks, Paul

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location, direct ocean front view from balcony. Condo was very roomy. LR/DR furniture was nice. Quick/Easy walk to elevator, stairs, parking lot, beach, pool, restaurants & shops. Master bed mattress was old and hard. Pillows smelly, bedspread old and musty. Could not get master bedroom TV to work. Tile floors were not swept, had hairs on them.

An amazing location!!! Shopping and restaurants close, fantastic beach access and very nice pool. The only recommendation I would make is to upgrade the mattresses, too stiff.

Nice family stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a very nice, affordable vacation here! The view of the pool and ocean from the condo is wonderful, as is the short walk to both. Wi-if was great, very clean place. It def has an 80s vibe which is fun, however, with some updates this condo could be beautiful! Our only concern was the elevator, it nearly broke while we were on it and unfortunately the fam after us wasn’t so lucky. The jaws of life had to be used to get them out. I’m told this elevator is constantly in need of updates by the residents who live there. I hope it’s fully repaired soon.

Great location. With minimal investment in the condo, this could be a 5 star unit.

The location on HH is perfect for a family. The unit looks out over the ocean, and because of its location in the building you also look over the pool, but it is not front and center. The Tiki hut is next to the resort, so live music is ever present through the evening if you sit on the balcony. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. We had a very good experience, however a few thousand dollars to upgrade the condo would make it a 5 star destination for families and would likely keep it booked non stop. I would recommend all new paint. Remove the old smelly carpet and replace with a hard surface like luxury vinyl flooring. New dishes and flatware instead of the mismatched and chipped dinnerware. And all new mattresses. The unit was not properly deep cleaned… and I will leave it at that. However…. This was all an acceptable trade off for the location and the view of the ocean from the balconies each morning.
