Beautiful Cape Cod Lakefront Retreat with Dock
Spectacular waterfront four-bedroom retreat, is only 35 feet (11 meters) from the lake. The house has new central air conditioning and heating. Located in Mashpee, this waterfront cottage that is close to beautiful beaches, nature trails, great options for take out restaurants, and bike trails. Boat (kayak and canoe are available for your use), bike the amazing bike paths nearby, or relax and relax on the spacious deck and enjoy great views of lake! Santuit Pond is approximately 176 acres and an active herring run, connected to the Quashnet River. The Quashnet River flows into Waquoit Bay. Kayaking, and canoeing (life jackets are provided) is amazing. Outside there is a outdoor shower with an indoor bench with a privacy door and latch. Surrounding the house are beautiful gardens, rustic fire pit, restful woods with native beech trees, and outside sitting areas. The deck is large, freshly repainted, with a large table for outdoor eating, and lots of comfortable seating. There are two grills, propane and charcoal, available for your use. The cottage is cozy, quiet and has beautiful views of Santuit Pond from the dining room, four bedrooms, kitchen, and two bathrooms. The house is comfortable with a living room with a large new tv, dining room, which provides truly stunning views of the pond, and a well-outfitted kitchen. The kitchen includes everything you might need for meal preparation, including an air fryer, blender, and a keruig and coffee perculator. Three bedrooms have stunning views of the pond. Several bedrooms have blackout curtains, that are perfect for a good night's sleep. Kayaks and a canoe are available for guests to use. This location is a birdwatchers paradise. There are great blue herons, mute swans, a variety of ducks, ospreys, hawks, owls, egrets, Raised bed gardens offer vegetables, and flowers, alongside the cottage. Swimming in the pond is not recommended, as the pond is not deep, and can have algae blooms at times. If you are searching for a very comfortable, but cozy place to stay while you're exploring Cape Cod, this is your place!
