Heron's Perch has a spacious bedroom with a large picture window that overlooks a garden. A palatial bathroom features a separate shower and soaking tub, and enclosed commode. A foldout desk, lovely settee, small dining table, flat screen TV make this a nice little home away from home. There's also a fridge, microwave oven and Keurig coffee maker. Dish-ware, linens and other essentials needed for longer-term stays are included.
The space Robin’s Nest is expressly designed to be casually relaxed and personable. It is infused with sprightly color and eclectically furnished with family heirlooms to blend a touch of nostalgia with contemporary comfort and convenience. The home was built in 2006 and renovated in 2017 to ensure our guests have a completely enjoyable experience.
Guest access Two guest studios are all located on the second floor. Common areas open to all are the front gardens where guests are invited to relax and enjoy tumultuous flowering blooms. The main floor is my private residence.
Other things to note Amenities include individual room temperature control, bedside reading lamps, sound buffering shades, black out curtains, USB outlet for additional electronics, emergency flashlight, extra pillows and blankets. Late-night owls and early birds staying at the Nest should all be able to get the rest they need. Quiet hours are from 9:30 pm to 7:00 am. We are an eco-friendly business. We renovated the building using bamboo flooring and low VOC paints. Old appliances were replaced with new energy-efficient models. We use compact fluorescent bulbs in most light fixtures. Thermal insulated shades and blackout curtains are on all bedroom windows. We try, with our guests’ assistance, to keep laundry to a minimum and we use biodegradable cleaners. We do not use pesticides in our gardens or anywhere on the property. Our goal is to set a high standard of service, while impacting the earth as little as possible.

We had a wonderful stay in Port Townsend at Robin's Nest. The rooms were comfortably appointed and we felt cozy, safe, and well-rested to take in the charms and wonders of this Victorian harbor town. Thanks to Robin and her delightful place for a most refreshing vacation!

We had a fantastic stay and it exceeded our expectations!! Bed provided an amazing sleep and the bathroom facilities were top shelf!! Will definitely stay again the next time we are in Port Townsend
Fantastic setup in a quiet area. The space is perfect size with everything you need. Principally, the bed is extraordinarily comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Robyn has everything organized in a simple, easy to comprehend format. Very well thought out.
Robin made everything easy and convenient for our 4 night visit to Port Townsend. Beautiful bedroom with nice dining area and huge bathroom suite. Surrounding gardens added to the pleasant ambiance. Lovely place, highly recommended.
Had our elderly folks stay here and they enjoyed themselves. Only comments were that they didn’t realize that there were two second floor units adjacent to one another (although no complaints), and it would have been beneficial for them to have had a handrail for the exterior porch stairs.
Robin the owner has thoughtfully provided everything you need when wanting to make some quick and easy meals. I found the mattress and bedding extremely comfortable and slept well. The location is very convenient to be able to explore not only Port Townsend but the other towns nearby.
The property is very well maintained and beautiful. A lot of thought was put into every part of it - outside was an impeccable garden, and inside was clean and chic, with just the right amount of nostalgic touch. The check-in and check-out process was quick and simple, the host was easy to communicate with, and everything was communicated very clearly. If we come up this way again, I will definitely be looking to book here!

We enjoyed all the little things our host had done to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast area was nice to have; we were able to play games there as well as eat. The host provided what was stated in the description. The bed room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The Keurig was stocked with coffee and tea choices. The front garden was a lovely place to eat our lunch.
We enjoyed our stay in this nicely furnished, cozy studio. It’s pleasant to be located a little ways out of the hubbub of the town center. The private entry is charming and efficient. The bed is of good quality, quite firm. We especially liked the ability to prepare our simple snacks and enjoy them in the small dining nook. The soaking tub is great! Towels and napkins, etc. were quite scented, sheets less so. We would have preferred no added scents.
Host communication was friendly and efficient. Check in and out was effortless.
Quiet property with absolutely beautiful landscaping. The fountains in the front garden automatically relax you with the sound of trickling water as you step through the front gate.
Loved the deep soak bath tub in our suite.
We're a middle aged couple who came up for a very tame anniversary weekend of food and spa time at Soak on The Sound. After having dinner out we'd come back to rest in our quiet room and drift off to sleep.
Note of Consideration: For those with sensitivities, be aware towels and linens are washed with scented laundry products.

Hi Laurel,
Thank you for your wonderful review! I really appreciate your mentioning the scented laundry and apologize if that was bothersome to you. I use an unscented biodegradable detergent, but the fabric softener is scented. this is a good heads up to me to ask future guests about sensitivities to fragrances so I can dispense with the softener....
With sincere gratitude,

We were in Port Townsend for an weekend event and chose to stay here. Check-in was smooth. The unit was very large. As a note, its layout was unconventional: two washing sinks, a very small dining area, a bath room (which has its own door of course), a shower space, and a separate, large bathtub were in the same section of the unit. Although it was listed to have a kitchenette, it only had a microwave and a coffee maker (the one that uses pods); it didn't have a stove, a toaster or an electric kettle. It turned the description was outdated and I believe it has been corrected.
There were an ample supply of towels. Everything was clean.
When we needed something or had questions, Robin responded quickly.
We would consider staying here again next time.
This was a lovely place to stay while we explored PT. The bed was comfortable and the tub was great for sore muscles. Very clean and spacious. thank you!
We truly enjoyed our stay. The Dove's Perch Suite was exactly as pictured, in fact even better. It is spotlessly clean and well appointed, with quality furniture, some family heirlooms, beautiful photographs on the walls, and more. Robin is a gracious and informative host.
