Arias Farm CABIN Rotorua + Hot Spa - 2 Bedrm farm accom in suburbs

Great little rustic 1970's bach/cabin unit for a family on the go with 2-3 kids, or two couples wanting their own rooms. One room has a nice king bed, and the other room has a double bunk - thick comfortable double bed at the bottom and single at the top. Extra futon bunk in lounge. Internal airconditioning and heating in both rooms. The cabin has a lounge and TV and it's own private deck and outdoor chairs overlooking an expansive lawn and stream at the bottom. A warm spa hot tub is right beside the deck (shared facility). Miniature kitchenette contains full fridge, microwave, frypan, toaster, jug, electric cooktop and all the pots and crockery (no conventional stove/oven). Outside on the covered deck is a nice big BBQ for summer sizzles. At the upper Lodge grounds there are great family facilities to share including volleyball, trampoline, petanque, and sandpit. Our wannabe city-farm is great for kids to feed the sheep, chickens, rabbits and the occasional piglets during feeding time. During spring we will often have chicks, piglets and lambs to pet. We are on the outskirts of town, about the same distance from city centre as the gondolas (same Auckland-side of town). So there's no traffic and no sulphur smell, but the city bus stops right at the front gate and a taxi from the pubs is still affordable! If this Cabin shows booked, please check under the Arias COTTAGE listing for availability. *All prices include bedding, towels, and cleaning of linen when you leave. Special conditions: Smokers outdoors under the verandah please. Carparks allotted. Dogs - fully fenced 1m high section, sleeping outdoors under verandah or indoors under certain T&Cs - please contact to peruse details. ALCOHOL: All bookings through bookabach are alcohol-free; a quiet one is fine but if you wish to have a social occasion with alcohol, there is a separate surcharge plus extra conditions to follow. Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the kitchen and do the dishes before you leave; remove your rubbish, clean the BBQ, and leave the bedding as-is; we do the beds and bathrooms.

Great little hideaway place to stay

Amazing place to stay with young children! So many bed options, the kids love all the animals and the owners let the kids join in on feeding the animals and took them on a farm tour. Even with another cabin next door it is set out so privately for each one. 5 stars! Will definitely stay again

This place was perfect for us. So quiet and plenty of space for our freyhound in the fully fenced back yard for our cabin. Great for kids and pets. Hope to stay again.

Nice place, fun with the grandkids on a farm

It is a nice place, and it fits lots of people. The place is dated and could use some sprucing up, but the setting is great. The grandkids loved feeding the animals and they also spent a lot of time in the hot tub or on the trampoline. The hosts were great.

Amazing 3 acre farm in Rotorua. So it was amazing. Owners were great. Kitchen is really small (frig less than half size with extremely limited ice). But setting was great overlooking woods even tho you are in town.

Rotorua - Ariel Cabin

The property was accurately represented on book-a-bach. A very homely and cosy cabin with everything you need for a short visit. Communication was great and check-in was easy peasey. My grandson enjoyed the farm animals just over the fence. The shared spa is fantabulous and became part of my daily morning and evening routine. Very quiet and peaceful location. Fully fenced area for my schnoodle. Highly recommended!!

Our stay at Aria farm by far exceeded expectations. They were able to accommodate our dogs, reasonably priced, close to town, Kerris was lovely and helpful, excellent communication. We were given a dozen eggs on arrival. The place was serene, rural but close to town, clean and comfortable, and we were able to partake in farm life. We will definitely be back and recommend to all our family and friends. Thanks Kerris and family for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Farmlet escape

Easy to find little farmlet with comfortable accommodation in the cabin. Nice and quiet and if you want to check out all the animals on the farm you could join in a tour at feeding time. We needed accommodation that allowed dogs, as they travel with us. We enjoyed using the spa after our pickleball tournament.
