Perfect Position - Bush Views minutes from pools

This property has a little bit of history. It is a 1970's Commonwealth Games athlete accommodation home, transported to the beautiful Hanmer Springs when it was no longer needed. Recently renovated inside, it is now a comfortable, warm home in a perfect location for a great weekend getaway or longer if you find you cant leave! The location is perfect for either a relaxing time of Pools, great food and wine at the amazing restaurants or shopping at the fantastic and increasing selection of Hanmer shops, all within an easy walking distance from the home. Equally the adventurous types can enjoy direct access from the property to the amazing walk tracks and cycle tracks of the Dog Stream Reserve.
Special conditions:
Families preferred, this is not a party house and is managed by neighbouring property. Please note the expectation is that you bring your own linen and clean the property when you depart. If you would like to book in a clean this can be arranged at an additional cost of $130 please advise at time of booking and your quote can be adjusted Smoking outside only. Please enquire for midweek single night stays.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave ( unless you have booked the cleaning service) Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels).

Loved our stay at this beautiful house. The house was a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures and my son loved exploring the garden and house. Would definitely come back for a stay next time we’re in Hanmer springs

Perfect Winter Accommodation!

We arrived during probably the coldest week of the year. House was well set up with everything we needed/expected. Suzy Bee Linen was already inside ready to go. Fire was amazing, heaters downstairs struggled a little battling the -6 outside, but ultimately kept us toasty. Super handy to the township and all amenities. Great property, kids were stoked with the place and didn't want to leave!

It's in a perfect location. Short walk to the hotpools, backs on to amazing trails through the bush, excellent views. House was warm and comfortable even when snowing outside. Would love to stay again

Perfect stay for family

It is a really nice place for family. My 6 years old girl loves the bunk bed, toys, backyard swing… The location is great, close to the pool and village Centre. Definitely will visit again next time. Highly recommended.

Great Holiday Home For Families

We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay at this property again the next time we are in Hanmer Springs. It is well equipped, comfortable, and a great location. We liked the access to the reserve as well as the close proximity to town. The kids enjoyed staying here as they had their own space down stairs.

Loved it, 2nd time staying here. Didn't need to use our car at all for our 2 night stay, everything was only a 5min walk away. Clean and very tidy. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available. We will definitely be staying again.

Perfect Location

Such a great location! Perfect for walking into town, hot pools & supermarket. The kids loved being able to walk through the Fairy Forrest as well. Nice & clean and some great toys for the kids as well.

Perfect family retreat

We had a lovely stay at this home, it was warm, clean and had everything you could possibly need, the bonus was a dryer so we could dry our swim towels. My only feedback would be that they need to leave rubbish bags for the bin inside so that we can put the rubbish out more than once while staying. The fire surround should also be secured as it is a bit of a pain in the backside, but none of this stopped us having a fabulous time. We would definitely book this again. Thank you.

Beautiful stay in Hanmer

Wonderful house, perfect for family groups with 2 living areas and plenty of toys and games available. Great fire that kept us toasty warm with plenty of firewood. Lovely outdoor area though it was a bit chilly for us - love to come back in summer. Everything we needed in the house and a short stroll to town, pools or into Hanmer Forest. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks very much.

Home Away From Home

Our family really enjoyed staying at this property. It is a great place to stay because it is close to town and easy access to some family-friendly bike tracks. The kids (age 8 and 11) also have their own space where they can hang out and play games. Thanks for providing such a lovely accommodation!

The location of our house means that you get to enjoy all the benefits of feeling like you are miles away from everything. While the village may be buzzing with a busy weekend crowd or holiday funseekers we get all the peace and quiet that our location brings while being a few minutes walk to all the attractions - we definately have the best of both worlds that Hanmer Springs offers. Great adventurous garden for the children, joining onto dogstream reserve, gives us our leafy tranquil back garden..... it is definately our happy place.
