The cabin is very cozy and very nice. The cabin's lot is very private and quiet. We loved it , we will stay again if we get the chance

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property itself was beautiful- plenty of room for my dogs to run around and play outdoors. It was quiet and peaceful, tucked away from the road. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the area. Lots of local recreation, bars and restaurants. The gas fireplace was nice on a few chilly evenings. We would definitely stay again.

We didn’t stay at this place longer than we had to. We could not believe how filthy it was. Absolutely disgusting. Dead bugs everywhere and more. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Needs repairs on windows

We stayed when the weather was very hot. We knew there was no air conditioner and had ceiling fans. Those did very little to help move air, were old. Most of the screens did not fit the windows properly so there were gaps where bugs, flys and ants were coming in. When we arrived there were dead bugs all over the floor. Some windows had no screens at all so could not open the windows at all. Beds need new mattresses and pillows. Pictures made this look much newer than it is.Was not happy with this choice.

From the owner: "Thank you for the honest review. Agree that the weather was unusually hot for the 4th of July weekend. I added a floor fan and fixed the screens. I am working on fitting a screen in the large windows. The mattresses in the lower level are new but soft. 4 beds are available; the 2 beds in the loft have a harder mattress, but during hot weather, the loft is not a good choice. New pillows will be supplied in the future."
