Well thought out and well cared for property. Parking can be a hassle, but that’s life in the city. So clean and organized, nice quality cookware too. Would absolutely stay there again, perfect!

Great Spot

A hick up with the wrong door code was promptly sorted out. We arrived to a lovely warm house. Heaters on prior to our arrival! Was just perfect -being walking distance to the supermarket, town and the waterfront. Wifi was seamless. Beds so comfortable. Used ubers to go out in the evening. Had a great stay. Thank you.

Thorndon is sitting on the door step of Wellington Central. Parliament and the higher Courts, along with various government buildings are a gentle walk away, along with Lambton Quay, shopping and restaurants. There is also fast access to the motorway in both directions, and the Ferry terminals.

What makes this property unique

100 years after it was first built in the 1920's, we've taken back some doors and walls, refurbished the floors fireplace, and modernised the entire space to turn what once was a moody, compact property into a light and airy luxuriously appointed apartment. You will feel like melting into the living room sofa upon arrival and watching a little tv, listening to some music or reading a book or two. There is ample space within, with wall to wall wardrobes in each bedroom, large plush queen size beds with hotel quality linen and multiple pillow choices.

A bath and shower occupy the bathroom with high quality consumables, and a new Washing Machine and Dryer to allow you do your laundry for longer stays.

The full kitchen is at your disposal, with oven, ceramic hobs, microwave, fridge, Coffee plunger and Nespresso pod machine, along with toaster, kettle and quality teas, coffees and chocolate.
