The stay was wonderful. It was quiet and very homey. It is far out and no service once you arrive so be prepared ahead of time. The decor is beautiful. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive it got very slick and muddy. But totally worth every dime!
What a great spot close to Monarch, Mt. Princeton, and Salida area. The house had everything we needed, friendly neighbors, and a great deck to view the mountain property. Our family of four and dog were very comfortable for the week, everything was wonderful!
Wonderful place to stay in the mountains and Megan the property manager was great and very responsive with a couple questions we had will definitely stay here again when we are back in Salida.
Very welcoming home, Kevin was super helpful with the ice on the stairs and driveway. Clear instructions and great guides inside! We enjoyed resting after going on some beautiful hikes and we spent some time at Monarch. Thanks again!
The house was great - super comfortable!! The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. Meagan was a dear, super nice and helpful.

Wow! What an amazingly warm and inviting place. Everything was immaculate and well kept. Location to ski mountain and quaint little town were close. The view was breath taking. I would recommend this place highly. I give it a 10 out of 10.

There was no pool and the hot tub was not working. The pots and pans were terrible and did not even want to cook with them. Cell coverage was very limited and no restaurants within 35 miles. The only reason we went was for the skiing and the week before we arrive the ski resort closed. The owner also came at checkout time and berated us for not being out already, which we left an hour past their early checkout of 10 am. Terrible experience!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet expectations. The property does not advertise a pool as an available amenity. We also confirmed the hot tub was prepared and ready for your stay prior to arrival, though we understand you were disappointed with that experience. The home is located in a remote mountain area, which many guests enjoy for the peaceful setting, though cell service and nearby dining options can be limited. We also understand the ski resort closure impacted your trip, though unfortunately, that was outside of our control. Additionally, the checkout time is set to ensure the cleaning team has adequate time to prepare the property for incoming guests. We appreciate your feedback as we continue working to provide clear expectations and a smooth guest experience for future travelers.

Beautiful, secluded location. Nice place overall but I feel like the main amenity is misleading. The hot tub is right outside the downstairs unit which seems to be occupied by the owner. Which, speaking of which, isn’t that VRBO’s whole thing?
