Best Riverfront Setting in Monarch

Sleeps up to 10. Perfect for vacations, retreats and family reunions, Sleepy Hollow Cabin is a secluded riverfront vacation home with majestic mountain views and sounds of the flowing river. Surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest, the cabin is near to one of the nation's most popular locations for whitewater rafting and kayaking. Summer or winter, the area is full of outdoor recreation opportunities: skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing; rafting, hiking, swimming in the hot springs, 4-wheeling, biking, fishing, and ghost-town exploring.

This mountain style vacation home is 2368 square feet in size. Inside you are welcomed into a Great Room with cathedral ceilings accented with log stairs and rails, and a Waterford gas stove. This open floor plan has a completely furnished kitchen with large dining table, and a large living room area. A bath with shower is also located on this main level. Windows all around bring the outside in. Two French Doors in the Great Room open to the large balcony which overlooks the river.

Located upstairs from the main level is a cozy open sleeping loft with cathedral ceiling and two queen beds.

Located downstairs: a master bedroom with king size bed, a second bedroom with queen size bed, and an open bunk room with 2 twin beds (no bunk beds). Each bedroom has a door leading to the deck by the river. A full bath is also located on this lower level.

The cabin is well cared for, the hosts are thoughtful in their preparation for guests. We were there for an epic snow and ski weekend and the property couldn’t have been more perfect for our trip. Grateful for the morning plows provided to get up to Monarch and outfitted kitchen.

The cabin is absolutely lovely/clean and perfectly located to hike the Colorado or Continental Divide trails. The hosts were very caring and provided tips on where to hike. We would book this cabin any day again.

Cabin on the Creek

Our family of 10 comfortably fit in this sweet cabin by the creek. The young adults loved looking for rocks and playing in the creek so bring water shoes! The sound of water was so soothing as we sat on the deck! What a lovely spot in the woods to decompress

Amazing Ski House

This house was perfect for our ski trip! Super close to Monarch Mountain and not a far drive from other mountains. The house itself was cozy and you felt so secluded. Easy drive to town for bars and restaurants. I would love to come back and stay in the summer time for warm weather adventures!

Awesome Getaway!

We stayed here to be close to skiing and we got more than just a place to rest. It truly is tucked away and although there are other cabins around, you feel secluded and truly on vacation. The ever running creek provided tranquility both day and night. We will definitely be staying here again!
