Fun and Relaxing in Tahoe City!
Taxes are included.
Come and relax in our cabin with a Scandinavian touch, close to beach, trails and Tahoe City. The cabin has been freshly painted inside and out summer -24.
The cabin belongs to the famous LTPA private beach that you can enjoy during your stay. If beach card key gets lost there will be an additional $150 charge to your account. Just up the hill is Page Meadows if you enjoy hiking or biking in the summer or snow shoeing, cross county skiing in the winter.
Enjoy nice evenings in the summer on the deck with scattered lake view or in front of the fire in the winter, please bring your own firewood. We have a Keurig Coffee maker, please bring your own pods. We offer some children toys and old school videos.
Please be aware of the Bear fence we have around the cabin, the switch is located on the deck right of sliding glass door. Please keep it on at night and when not at the cabin. This is a cabin that is located in the woods surrounded by beautiful nature and all that nature has to offer, with that comes Bears, Coyotes, Squirrels, Mice and many more creatures. If you mind any of these remember this is not a fancy hotel in Aspen:) If a bear is close by bang some pots and pans or use a bear horn, that usually makes them walk away, as for squirrels and coyotes don't feed them and don't leave food out for them and for the mice same thing and if needed set a trap:)
In the winter please be aware of Tahoe Black ice, all over you can find this and we hope you are careful so you do not find it the hard way.

Excellent cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Easily fits two families. The owner is super responsive and accommodating. Rental includes access to a private beach!
The cabin was perfect. Not huge, but everything we needed was there and super comfortable. The upstairs bed was so comfortable. I looked to see what company made it and what brand it was cause I think I wanna buy one. The kitchen was perfect and we had such a lovely view of the lake from the deck. It was mesmerizing.
Great location. The cabin was beautiful, located in a peaceful environment. Temperature was a little be hot, but host made provisions. We had a great time.

A+ experience!
Great cabin and location was fabulous. Enjoyed the mornings on front deck drinking coffee and taking in views of Lake Tahoe. Definitely looking forward to coming back and renting again.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The deck provided a great spot for outdoor dinner and lounge. All the amenities were clean and in good working order. Thank you for an affordable weekend respite!
The place was nice and you’ll find everything you need for your stay. The only downfalls are the internet which is almost non existent and the lack of A/C leaves it uncomfortably warm inside, especially upstairs. The owner was was very responsive and great to deal with.

Sorry to hear about the WiFi, it seems to have been a problem in the area for some time … We are having another company come and do an install tomorrow so fingers crossed this company will be better !! A/C issue yes unfortunately it can get a bit toasty in the summer but if you open up all the windows and use all the fans it helps a lot, however there is those nights where it just won’t cool off.
Sincerely, property manager
We enjoyed a couple great days in Tahoe for the holiday. The hosts were able to let us into the home early when we were heading up, which was a great relief to unload groceries and then head to the Lake. The home comes with a pass to a nearby beach. We had no trouble getting down there, parking and enjoyed a lovely afternoon by the water. The home is up in the hills over Lake Tahoe, so you would likely prefer to drive, since returning up the big windy hill would be tough. Something of note that you may not realize from the map. Otherwise, the house was charming and had everything we needed for our stay. Would stay again.
We attended my son's wedding at Plumbjack, but opted to stay in this cute little cabin. We have family from Sweden and the little Swedish touches in the cabin were heart felt. The outdoor porch was an absolute delight!
Penny our property manager has always been so kind and helpful during the entire reservation process. We would love to stay again in the future.
Thank you for making our visit a memorable one!
The property is old and dated. If you like rustic, it fits the bill.
The mattresses in the bunk bed room are unusable, and should be replaced.
Nice location. Nice porch for coffee and cocktails.
7 of us 59 yr old lifelong girlfriends stayed here for 4 nights. We slept in all of the beds. The beds are SO COMFORTABLE! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. There was enough comfortable seating in the living room for all of us to watch movies together on the flat screen TV. The deck out front was so nice & breezy in the heat w/a nice patio umbrella & lots of comfy deck furniture. We had a wonderful stay here. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends & family. Thank you for letting us use your COMFY home!!

This A-frame unit was perfect for myself (downstairs queen), 4 kids (bunk-room) and my friends (upstairs loft king). The location was perfect for getting into Tahoe City for essentials or the ~20min drive to Palisades for skiing. We had a small snafu with plumbing, but the property manager had it fixed as soon as possible with excellent communication. Pro-tip - the downstairs bedrooms got hot, even with the heat turned down to 62. Leave a window open - it still didn't get too cold in the winter, but made sleep more manageable.
This cabin was perfect for our family for our holiday. Because its personal and "well lived in" the vibe was casual and relaxed. In some ways, the informal and personal touches make it a warmer and more hospitable than more modern and austere places. It's not fancy but it's comfy. While not quite walkable in winter, Tahoe City is at the bottom of the hill for some good eats and a small general store. Of note; bring everything you need, as is clearly stated in the description, from TP to coffee; it's a little more "bring your own" than most places. We had a great time and the host was great too!
Overall, we had a great experience. Pro's - the deck is great. Plenty of space and good views. The living area is also spacious and connects well with the deck. The bedrooms were adequate. As mentioned in many other reviews, there isn't AC, so it does get very warm in the upstairs loft during the day. If you leave the windows open during the evening, the upstairs cools down considerably.
The location is great. Close to Tahoe City, hikes, etc.
The only gripe would be that the place is older and certain things aren't all that modern. Upstairs bathroom is dated and could use some attention. Not terrible by any stretch though.
Overall, I would stay here again.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Unpleasant
The thermostat was broken, the downstairs room was continuously heating up even though the temperature was at 58, the beds were not clean and near, there were dirt and peanut shells on the beds and carpets, we found eyelashes on the upstairs bed, the stay experience was bad to a point that we didn’t sleep the second night and took off way early in the morning around 3am

Hi,
We are sorry you did not have a pleasant stay. You should had contacted us immediately when you realized these issues! But you decided Not to, so how are we going to correct anything without knowing?. And I have a hard time seeing the beds not being clean but I I'll take your word for it and will talk to my cleaning crew. And will have our HVAC guy come and take a look at the heater. Thanks for the information, in the future when you rent please let the management/owners know right away if there is an issue, that is just common curtesy.
Merry Christmas!
Booked in June for a December stay. Filtered my search to only show properties with hot tubs. The property listing showed a hot tub for months. I showed the listing to multiple people, including those that traveled with us. We had numerous conversations about how nice it will be with a hot tub on a ski vacation. I would not have booked this cabin if it didn’t list a hot tub. When we arrived we couldn’t find it. I confirmed the listing showed hot tub and it did. So I messaged the host and they said “we don’t see that” and immediately that amenity disappeared from the listing. The host said “sorry, hope you enjoy your stay”. They are not providing any compensation and told me to “take it up with VRBO” because it was a glitch in their system.

We are sorry that this happened, we have had issues/glitches with VRBO in the past regarding what’s on the website and what’s at the property. The site showed a pool in the past, we have no pool.
If there’s no pictures of something specific that you are looking for that would indicate there is none. If no one has written about it in a review that does also indicate there is none. Or if it is really important just send the owner an email to double check.
We had a great family vacation here (4 people with 2 teenage boys). Some people mentioned not liking the bear wires, but this is pretty standard in this part of Tahoe. Bears have been known to break into the homes! Others mentioned only 1 dish towel, but there were plenty for us. There were also plenty of bath towels provided (including wash cloths). As mentioned in the listing, you do need to provide your own toilet paper and paper towels. In addition, there is no food storage (zip locks, saran wrap, tupperware, etc). There was a roll of foil that I suspect was left by a previous renter. There was not a lot of cupboard space to store our groceries except above the fridge. There was some shampoo and body soap in the upstairs bathroom, but none in the downstairs. I would recommend bringing your own. The cabin itself is cozy and fairly well-equipped except for the above mentioned items. The wifi is not great and we did have to restart the router each day, so don't plan to work from the cabin. If you're in Tahoe, that's the last thing you'll want to be doing anyway! We never turned on the TVs so I can't comment on that part. The couch seems new and was very comfortable and the deck was nice and big!
Cozy cabin, it was perfect for our family . Kitchen fully equipped and I was able to make a huge thanksgiving dinner. Close neighbors were friendly. Conveniently located not to far from stores, and we got to enjoy the private beach. Myself and my family had a blast.
This was our second stay at this property. The view is great, the cabin is nice. Location is perfect, its close to stores and restaurants, but not so close that you don't have privacy as well.
