We had a great vacation. The house was clean and as advertised. It was a short walk to the beach and zoo. The train station was a 5 minute drive. Our 6 year old loved the train ride to the Chicago aquarium for the day. Highly recommend the house and location!

We had a really fun long weekend at Serendipity. Wonderful house, very cute, cozy and well thought out. The hosts are so nice and thought of everything. We loved all the little extra touches that made us feel so welcome. Thank you!!

This property and host are phenomenal! The home has a wonderful backyard, well-appointed kitchen, and is comfortable and tasteful throughout. Our kids loved the loft hangout space and beds, and there are so many games and books for kids and adults alike. It is walkable to the beach and we'llstocked with beach supplies. Thank you, Angie! Amazing stay!

We loved our stay. Angie was very welcoming. The house is well stocked with beach equipment, much more than I would have expected. There are also wonderful touches throughout the stay that made it feel like home. Would stay again.

Perfect Family Vacation

This was our second time staying with our young kids-and we would love to come back again! Very cute house and yard with everything you need and then some. Short walk to the beach and zoo. Owner is very kind and helpful:)

Great stay

Great stay in Michigan city property was very clean and had everything we needed with close walk to the beach. Also equipped with everything we needed for our baby including baby monitor and high chair. Loved the back yard for fires every night.

Wonderful weekend stay

Our hosts created a lovely home for our weekend. Everything was spotless and so welcoming (including the freshly baked banana bread!). The location was close to downtown for our dining and we enjoyed the fireplace for cozy evenings back at the house. Perfect!

Beautiful property with a 4 min walk to beach

This place is great! The owners were super friendly and communicative throughout our stay. The master bedroom has one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on! My spouse & I loved the fireplace and cozy kitchen, while my teenage son enjoyed the game room upstairs. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect property - great location

Owners took so much time and care to make sure everything you need for a great vacation is at the property. All the little extras and details made it special. The location is just a short walk to the beach and beach access is clean with a cart path and a restroom. We were also able to walk to Washington Park and the zoo. We really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it.

Easy trip

We had a great time with our two small families. The house was perfect for us and the trundle bed came in handy. The house and garage were stocked with anything and everything. We loved the location, the back yard and fire pit.

Great place to relax and spend time with family

The house was a short walk to the beach with lost of fun restaurants to check out. Host had everything covered from basic kitchen needs to all the thing needed for a fun day at the beach. The fire pit in the back with all the s'mores fixings made for a fun and relaxing evening. Our family would definitely go back!

Wonderful!

We were so impressed with this place! The minute we walked in the door we knew we would love it. The finiahes are gorgeous and the whole place is full of lots of unexpected amenities. We are very picky with lodgings but all our expectations were met and then some. Such a comfy cozy retreat for our family of 5. We already can’t wait to book it again next year!

First class lodging

We were so impressed with all the little extras- sand toys, bikes, beach chairs, books, etc. Angie was incredibly helpful and responsive. The house was beautifully decorated and filled with everything you could possibly need. It was a short walk to the beach and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the beach and how few people were there. Wonderful stay!

Beach wedding

We were over the moon happy! Location was 5 minutes from the wedding site. Al's was perfect for picking up odds and ends. Best of all ...the Home was stocked with essential items and super cozy beds

Perfect south shorline home!

If you are thinking about booking this property go ahead and do it! You will not regret it! The property had everything we thought we needed and more! Its tue perfect place to stay for people of all ages! The bikes amd toys everything provided was top notch! We go to this are every year and have stayed somewhere new every time! This will 100% be our new anual spot for south shoreline vacations!

Awesome House and Manager

Great house, very clean, with a nice beach vibe. Just a short walk to the beach with all the staples (beach cart, umbrella, chairs, coolers, etc.) available. Property manager was super friendly and responsive and even mailed us a couple items we left behind. Highly recommended!
