We were in the home for 1 week it was perfect for us. The location was central for us, we were within 30 minutes of anywhere we wanted to go. The accommodations where very nice,. I would highly recommend this home. Thank you

Honestly a fantastic experience! Convenient location, quiet neighborhood, clean, accurate photos, great for a weekend with my girls!One note—we had expected the Murphy bed to be a full. It is more like a small twin-sized mattress trundle. Ended up fine for us, but could make a difference for others!

I was born and raised in Charleston SC where I taught sailing for 8 years. Being raised in Charleston I was spoiled to be surrounded by great fishing, seafood and restaurants. I am now captain of a yacht experiencing other parts of the world. Being in the yachting industry, as well as a Hospitality major at the College of Charleston, has refined my host guest experience. I am confident my home with have everything you need whether you are in town for business or pleasure.

I have created a Welcome Binder that includes my Charleston Guidebook from a Local's Perspective. You will find this leather binder on the coffee table as you enter the home. This should provide answers to any questions you may have during your stay about the home as well as things to do around Charleston including; beach tips, seasonal activities, & restaurant favorites with printed menus to browse. Feel free to reach out to me via text or call if you need anything during your stay. Additional cleaning and/ or linen changes during your stay are available for an extra fee upon request.

This home is newly renovated and redesigned with guests in mind. Enjoy the fresh clean interior with southern decor. Enjoy art throughout the home by the owner herself. My guests have access to the entire home, carport area where the 5 bikes are located for use. There is a long driveway going towards the home as well as a gravel section along the street for ample parking (up to 9 cars).

What makes this property unique

The home is centrally located in Riverland Terrace, which is the oldest neighborhood on James island. This established neighborhood is lined with majestic Oak trees and mature landscaping and wildlife. Take a walk down the street to enjoy the sun set over the Stono and Wappoo Rivers. Watch local boaters cruise by and dolphins. If you are enjoying a stay-cation or traveling from nearby, there is a city boat ramp just a few houses down the street and space in the driveway to park your boat. You can also bring paddle boards, kayaks, & fishing gear. Enjoy the hospitable and quiet neighborhood in its central location in Charleston. At the entrance of the neighborhood is the Charleston Pour House, Keepsakes Florist, Maybank Public House, and Terrace Theater. The home is only a 3 minute drive or 2 mile bike ride to the nearest grocery store. Everything you need is within 5 minutes of the home, yet it feels like you are tucked away in a Low Country forest when at the cottage
Only an 8 minute drive to Downtown Charleston, 15 minutes to Folly Beach, 15 minutest o the Angel Oak tree, 10 minutes to James Island County park. This is the retreat you are looking for!
