Beautiful Gite

We had a lovely week here and really wished we could stay longer. The gite is very comfortable and spacious in beautiful surroundings. Really safe for little ones with gates outside etc. the pool was a real highlight and kept my 5 year old fully entertained for a week. Lots of activities to do nearby, a really family friendly are.

Les Lavandes is set in the countryside in a lovely rural spot. Downstairs there is a large living  area, a well resourced kitchen and dining area, and a smaller utility room with washing machine, so no disturbing noise. Upstairs two double bedrooms, a shower room with a separate wc, and a spacious mezzanine accommodating a single bed. A cot is available. Outside, a patio with dining set, a small sectioned off swimming pool (very safe) and an outdoor kitchen/bbq area. There is a covered vehicle space attached. A peaceful area, surrounded by fields. Sheep and bird song in the mornings. There are nearby camp sites. Les Lavandes is one of a complex of 3 gites. It is barely over looked and views are lovely. Our views from the side of the house were of the orchard and further farm land, to the front and sides fields, the pool and garden, a gîte to the side and a fairly quiet road that runs past. There are shops/supermarkets at Sarlat and Salignac. We needed a car to get about, it was very hot during our stay so didn't fancy walking too far, the pool has been a blessing, as has the car port. Over 41C one day. Our hosts were friendly and never disturbed us. They are around if needed but usually busy working on the land. We have had a great stay and explored the locale.However, the gîte would benefit greatly from WiFi as 5g is virtually none existant. Fans available for the bedrooms would help too. It was too warm even keeping windows and shutters closed to the sun.

La maison a beaucoup de charme, les extérieurs et la piscine super !! La maison est peu équipée mais l’essentiel y est. le ménage n’est pas impeccable (surtout les sols et toiles d’araignée)La maison est très bien située pour visiter villages châteaux et grottesPar contre pour les plus sensibles au bruit un camping est à 300m, beaucoup de musique et d’animation plusieurs soirs par semaine. Sinon nous recommandons !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison de caractère, très propre, aux murs épais où nous avons apprécié la fraîcheur du séjour en période de canicule. La piscine et ses jets est également très appréciable. La maison est idéalement située à 6 kms de Sarlat et proche des Eyzies et des nombreux jardins et châteaux à visiter comme Beynac, Castelnaud et les Milandes. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur sympathie, leur discrétion et leur disponibilité. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

Semaine dans la campagne sarladaise

Nous avons passé une tres bonne semaine dans le gite les lavandes. Vaste maison avec terrasse,piscine independante coin exterieur pour les barbecues tout à fait conforme àl annonce.... Gite situé en pleine campagne et à 10 minutes de Sarlat en voiture.

Vacances au calme dans un bel endroit

Jolie maison avec piscine à remous privative, assez proche des sites touristiques, voiture nécéssaire, commerces de proximité à environ 5klm. Petit bémol, manque de verres (bière et vin) et serviettes de douche

Tchouette sejour dans le Périgord

Nous avons passé de tres bonnes vacances dans le gite d'Eric. Maison bien equipée et fonctionnelle. Les exterieurs sont agreables, nous avons apprécié égalément la situation ideal de ce logement.

Très bonne semaine

Maison très bien équipée ; piscine, abri extérieur et jardin très agréables. Un accueil chaleureux de la maman de 82 ans, qui est d’une grande gentillesse. Notre hôte a encore plein d’idées pour améliorer la maison. Nous recommandons vivement cette demeure.
