We spent the weekend at Carriage House for a girls trip! It was the perfect space for 8! Plenty of sleeping spaces, stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen. The outdoor space and hot tub were so nice! We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go! Jeannie was great with suggestions and answering questions.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, comfortable and even better than the pictures. Nice outdoor areas and in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the short walk to downtown area with shopping and many restaurants.

Great location - an easy walk to lovely downtown Saugatuck and an easy drive to Douglas and the surrounding area.Jean was highly responsive before and during our stay. The open floor plan was great for our family.Loved having a hot tub and easy access to the beach.

Comfortable house with lots of room for our extended family. We were even able to bring our dogs (note -yard is not fenced) Close to downtown Saugatuck but feels away from the bustle. Host was friendly and welcoming.

Great place for a large group!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The upstairs was perfect for the three adult couples and the kids stayed downstairs. Very comfortable. The outdoor area was perfect for our group. Great location shortish walk to downtown. Would stay again for sure!

Cozy Winter Escape

Beautiful, large home in a great location. The fireplace and hot tub were lovely on a snowy winter weekend. Our group loved our stay so much that we booked a week this upcoming summer!

Jean was so accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond to messages. The property is just as pictured and we had a great time on our quick getaway. It is on the main road so I wasn't fully prepared for that as we hadn't been to the area before, but the location was perfect for a 10 minute walk to downtown - ideal because downtown parking is a challenge!

Great vacation spot!

The Carriage House is a great place to stay! We had a great time with our family and two dogs!! The house has lots of room and is decorated beautifully. You are able within walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants. . Jean was a great host and responded to our questions quickly! I would definitely stay here again!

I couldn’t even tell they were there except for the unmade beds which I told them to leave that way. The home was so clean. They really respected my home as if it were their own. We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and more which was so nice! Property owners very easy to work and professional. The house was adorable with great location to downtown Saugatuck. Would definitely encourage others to rent and would love to come back.

Great House, Great Location

We visited Saugatuck to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. The house was perfect for our needs. Clean, comfortable, and charming. We enjoyed the quick walk to downtown and the convenience of a great backyard, nearby beaches, mini-golf and dune buggy rides. Owners were very nice to work with. Would absolutely stay again!

Very Thankful for getting the opportunity to have this family choose our home to stay. They were amazing guests. They treated our home with respect and as of it were their own. I don’t think I have ever come to the home to clean after guests have checked out and you pretty much didn’t know they were there except for the beds being slept in. They ran the dishwasher and even washed the towels. I can only hope they come stay with us again. They truly were a joy to host.

Even better was the location—just a short walk to the heart of town with its charming shops, great restaurants, and vibrant atmosphere.The hosts were wonderful—very communicative and easy to reach, which made everything smooth and stress-free. This rental was the ideal setting for a memorable celebration and a perfect introduction to Saugatuck. Highly recommend!
