Large, elegant, comfortable garden level suite Vancouver getaway!

Wake up in a spacious, fully equipped two bedroom garden level basement suite a heritage house in Vancouver's Little Italy.

Decorated with elegance and comfort in mind, ceilings are high in this well maintained suite stocked with all the amenities you’ll need for your visit. We offer complimentary dark roast coffee, tea, coco and a few comfort supplies.

The two large queen bedrooms have comfy beds, fluffy duvets and pillows with nice linens. Enjoy spacious living, dining area and open plan kitchen that is fully equipped to create a delicious meal.

Enjoy your stay in this clean, comfortable, and fully equipped garden level suite. Note that in order to secure our municipal business license we removed the full range and replaced it with a cooktop. There is also an oven for toasting, broiling and pizzas.

Direct access through the garden by keypad to the common entrance, and the private entrance to the guest suite through a common area waiting for you.

Steps away from great cafes, convenience shops, transit connections, restaurants, cafes, award-winning micro breweries, shopping, and nightlife. 10 min from downtown, short drive to hiking trails & sandy beaches, the PNE and fairgrounds, free street parking.

Our character house is located in quiet, tree-lined residential neighbourhood that links directly to downtown, beaches and the mountain slopes.

5 Blocks to the famous Commerical Drive, an area known in Vancouver as Little Italy. You can walk to the city’s best gelato, Italian cafes, shops and a diverse selection of great restaurants, cafes, bakeries. We have wonderful delis cafes and a 7/11 for all the basic needs just blocks away.

Getting around
Ample, free street parking, with some permit spots to avoid - Happy to help with that!
5 block walk to Commercial Drive.
Public transit is access is steps away, linking to city- spanning Sky train.
10 min drive to downtown core.

We maintain a clean and welcoming suite with hosting and cleaning practices in place since our opening at the beginning of COVID-19:

✔ All of our rooms get thoroughly disinfected using disinfectant.
✔ Cleaning with bleach and similar products to disinfect all bathrooms and kitchens
✔ Use a germicidal disinfectant for the following high-touch surfaces: door and window handles, cabinet and drawer handle, TV remotes, and all light switches.

We keep it simple for our guests. Leave the linens on beds Towels in bathroom Garbage in the bin and recycling in the blue bin Food waste in compost Key on the outside of the suite door handle
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Toilet paper only in the toilet. Blockages from "flushable wipes", kleenex and sanitary products will be covered by the guest.
No smoking or vaping on property.
Guests must be responsive and communicate regarding purpose of visit before booking is accepted and any issues with the suite during their stay

Lovely stay in a lovely neighbourhood

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed walking through the neighbourhood to the city amenities and restaurants on Commercial Drive. Would definitely stay there again

Clean and spacious apartment in a nice quiet nieghborhood. Easy to get into downtown and located in a fun area with lots of Italian restaurants.The hosts are very friendly and gave a lot of lovely recommendations for our stay as well!

We arrived and Jollean our host was very accommodating!! We were late in arriving and she helped with finding food and ordering. She had suggestions for sites and dining experiences. The space was clean and very comfortable!!

Lovely home. Host very responsive, very quickly. She was friendly and had great suggestions for the neighborhood. I feel bad this review is late, but we left her place for an Alaskan cruise . Would love to stay here again if I'm ever back in Vancouver!

A little pretrip before a seven day cruise to Alaska. The space was perfect, very cozy, excellent location and plenty of things to do and see. Our host Jollean, was extremely helpful and gave us a recommendation of her favorite coffee shop, it was fantastic! We will definitely be coming back to explore more of Vancouver and the surrounding area.

Ladies Weekend

Jollean was a great hostess. Bit of an issue with the entry door not locking properly but she fixed it immediately. Only other thing is to be mindful you're in a basement suite so you do hear upstairs noise. Location was safe for us walking and getting where we needed to go. Thank you Jollean for hosting us!

Great location and even better suite!

We stayed a weekend here, and had an excellent time! The suite is near Little Italy, so there's plenty of great food within walking distance. There's also a bus stop where the 007 line goes straight to downtown, so no need to worry about parking there if you visit! The owner was incredibly accommodating and hopefully we'll be able to come back before too long!
