Best place to stay in La Rocgelle

Very central location. Nice cosy apartment, good beds and shower. The small kitchen was very well equipped. Excellent communication with friendly owners. Warmly recommended!

Cute apartment in a central location

Christele was very receptive and pleasant to deal with. The apartment is beautifully decorated and couldn’t be more central. We had a lovely 4 night stay.

Beautifully and efficiently designed apartment in a great location

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment in the heart of old La Rochelle. It's mix of traditional and modern design is very appealing. The host, Christèle is very pleasant and was there to greet us upon our arrival. She was easy to communicate with in the days and hours in advance. The location is amazing! The outlook from the windows is on Place de Verdun, which includes a convenient parkade for your vehicle, and on the Saint Louis Cathedral immediately across the street. The main market area, waterfront promenades with famous harbour towers, and other tourist attractions are just a few short blocks away. A coffee shop and bakeries are less than one block. One thing to be aware of is the narrow windy staircase one floor up to the apartment, which might be tough for some with heavy luggage. We highly recommend Christèle's apartment and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This apartment is centrally located, opposite the Cathedral near Place de Verdun and is ideally located within easy walking distance of the main attractions of La Rochelle. We left our car parked up for the duration of our stay and walked everywhere. (The underground parking at Place de Verdun is probably the best option. It is close, feels safe and is not exorbitantly priced.) The apartment has a small but well fitted kitchen, a nice sitting area with table & chairs and sofa, a double bed and a shower room with toilet. It's on two levels with the sitting area up over one of the arched pavement arcades that are a feature of the centre of the city. It was clean and tidy and the owner very helpful. It is quiet with the windows closed but if you want to open them (it can get hot) there will be some noise (it is the centre of the city after all). I would suggest some ear plugs if noise bothers you.

L'emplacement de l'appartement avec un parking privatif a cet endroit, c'est parfait. C'est le point fort de cette location.Le studio est un peu vieillot et mérite un rafraîchissement, mais l'essentiel est là.Literie de qualité Manque le wifi car aucune connexion internet 4G possible de l'appartement avec SFR, c'est un peu pénible a la longue.Bonne expérience malgré tout.

Car... - notre appartement n'est pas un studio, - il a ete refait l’année passée, - il ne comporte pas de parking privatif, - quant au wifi, l'appartement est équipé d'une box Bouygues comme indiqué dans le livret d'accueil. La box sfr est celle d'un voisin....

Excellent séjour

Appartement idéalement situé, avec en prime des films possibles sur Netflix et Primevideo! Il est heureusement situé au 1er, ce qui est fort pratique, car il n'y a pas d'ascenseur dans l'immeuble et l'escalier est plutôt étroit. Christèle est d'une réactivité et d'une amabilité exemplaire. Je suis arrivée tard dans la soirée et elle a été malgré tout là, pour m'accueillir. Un petit sapin de Noël tout en lumière, m'attendait, ainsi qu'un petit papa Noël sous la télévision. Les seuls petits bémols : les toilettes, qui ne permettent pas d'avaler complètement le papier toilette (à cause des bords, tout autour) et la douche (celle que l'on peut prendre à la main) qui n'envoie que quelques jets d'eau. A part ces deux détails, autant dire insignifiants, tout le reste est simplement extra ! Je reviendrai sans hésitation !

Quant aux nuisances sonores, vous m'avez précisé lors de votre arrivée être extrêmement sensible à tous types de bruits. Je suis très surprise qu'en venant à La Rochelle pour assister au festival des Francofolies, vous choisissiez un appartement dans le centre ville (précisé dans l'annonce) et à 10 min minutes à pied de la scène, en espérant n'entendre aucun bruit ! De plus, c'est franchement très exagéré de dire que notre appartement ne bénéficie pas d'aucune isolation phonique alors que les 5 fenêtres ont un double vitrage et que le plafond a été entièrement doublé d'un isolant phonique (12 cm de laine de coton).

Emplacement au top plein centre ville avec un accueil simpa

Laisser votre voiture au parking de Verdun 60€ la semaine qui est à 50 ml de l'appartement. Tous commerces à proximité le marché les rues piétonnes,le vieux port a 5 mn de marche avec tous les restaurants festivités, embarquement bateau etc..
