Wonderful stay! Will go again, without a doubt. The location is priceless. The appartement is quite big. The kitchen has everything you need and beyond. There is a parking around the corner which makes it very convenient. I highly recommend this place. The host is very nice. Just a nice and quiet place to stay in La Rochelle.

A Beautiful Spot

the salon is a wonderful room. the kitchen so well equipped. the location lovely. *if you rent a car, note parking is a challenge in La Rochelle we had a wonderful time. will return!

Lovely La Rochelle

Wonderful apartment, very central and peaceful. Everything available what’s needed for shorter or also longer stay. Many interesting activities in the city or make a short drive to those 2 wonderful islands nearby La Rochelle. Definitely recommend!! Thank you for a good host!

Le Séjour de Printemps Idéal à La Rochelle

This lovely apartment was the ideal base of operations for my two-month stay in La Rochelle. Proximate to all the local attractions and necessities, I was grateful for the ability to relax in the beautiful salon and shared garden at the end of my pleasant days spent in the Old Port, the central market, and neighboring islands. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathroom was adequate to my needs, and I never wanted for a car given the apartment’s perfect location. The check-in/out process was a breeze and I look forward to my next visit!

This is my second stay at this apartment - it is perfect for one or a couple. The salon is incredible - the kitchen so wonderfully full of all needs. Very easy to access and enjoy. Quiet inner courtyard full of morning light. Gorgeous. I will return! *one concern is the person who manages the place and the bed linen. All linen and towels etc is extra (not included in price). She did not provide duvet cover and the duvet had blood stains which she said she was aware of. I asked for duvet cover and she said she was away and unable to provide. There was just a sheet. Was unpleasant. When leaving I explained that this is not acceptable and this offered less money for the linen and she became very rude. Too bad to end like this - still I loved it very much and will come back (with my own linen!).

Cosy apartment in La Rochelle

The apartment is near the old town. 10 minutes by foot. It’s calm but sometimes you can hear the noise from the apartment above. Nothing too intense but it can be annoying. Be aware that there is no dryer only a washer. If you need it, there is a laundry 2 minutes walk. Overall, this is a typical French apartment, where you can spend a good time.

Fabulous thanks apartment, difficult to park

The property is beautiful, very clean and well equipped. France, the property manager was very helpful and communication with her was excellent. The property is ideally situated and convenient for bars and restaurants. However, we had to queue for 30 minutes to be able to park. The nearest car park was full and only had a maximum of two hours anyway. As guests who are in their 70s, we found it extremely difficult to carry our luggage 400 metres from available parking and had to make two journeys. The car park tarrif showed up to 4 hours and we were worried that we had parked illegally. Thankfully, that was not the case and we paid 48 euros for 5 days. France did suggest an underground car park but this was even further away and we wouldn't have been able to carry our luggage. If it wasn't for the parking situation we would, most definitely, return.

The lady who showed us around the property was quite blunt and at times impolite. I felt that she needed training for ‘meet and greet’ . You are expected to clean the property before leaving, which we did, but had to undergo her snide comments about the level of cleanliness, when we’d been cleaning for 2hrs in 30• heat. She said our cleaning was ‘not good enough’ so I’m enclosing photos of the flat before we left.

This was my third consecutive year staying here. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, and the host was very welcoming, and helpful explaining how to use it. Although the flat is right in the centre it is very quiet, and well sheltered from the heat.We were told to bring our own bedding and towels, and that there would be an additional fee for a cleaner.. so we opted to clean ourselves, thinking we would be able to do a reasonable job, as we weren't spending much time at the flat. Unfortunately the host wasn't satisfied with our cleaning efforts, even though we left the flat reasonably tidy my most standards... which made me think that the cleaning should be mandated, and included in the price, even if this meant paying a bit more per night. Obviously the kind of people who would rent this liken us, aren't professional cleaners,.. so that would be my only main recommendation, as it then removes the stress, and appropriately manages expectations for the visitors.Otherwise, I'd love to stay here again, and was sad to leave.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et pu profiter des fonctionnalités de notre hébergement.Une fois la voiture au parking nous avons déambuler depuis l'appartement dans les rues de LaRochelle et le bord de mer tout en appréciant les différents endroits et visites sans oublier les dégustations des producteurs locaux et restaurants.

Situé idéalement avec des parkings à proximité, pas bruyant, très bien agencé, avec tous les équipements indispensables et un salon magnifique.Un seul bémol c'est le jardin en friche, mais c'est le syndic qui n'a pas fait le nécessaire.Réactivité au RDV.A l'occasion, nous tenterons de nouveau notre chance pour le louer, si nous retournons à la Rochelle.
