Tidewater Beach Resort opened in March 2008. It’s a luxury resort ideally located on a large expanse of sugar-white sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico and convenient to area dining, shopping and activities. Vacation 2022

Very clean condo and the view was amazing (22nd floor). I’ve stayed at Tidewater several times and can’t go wrong. They have everything you need. I will say the fitness room needs some “TLC”and the equipment needs either replaced or better taken care of. Other than that great time and look forward to come back next year. J.R.

Great location, clean facility

The condo was clean and in a good location. BE WARNED: there are not enough elevators during the busy season. We often had to wait more than 15 minutes for any elevator. It took our friends over 2 hours to get an elevator, during check-in. Water pressure in the master bath leaves a lot to be desired, but we will be booking at Tidewater again. I love the added security features.

Tidewater stay

The condo was very small. The fact that they stuffed some bunk beds in a small corner with no room to move and the washer and dryer were in one of the bathrooms made no sense too me. The furniture was very out of date and old. The sofa was dirty and stained. I don’t generally leave a bad review but this is simply too much.

Unsatisfactory

Upon arrival condo was filthy. Sheets and floors were dirty. Couch was so stained we never sat on it. Water began to pour from the ceiling onto our kitchen counter and it took over 24 hours for someone to come see about it. Drains in bathrooms were stopped up tub and sinks. This is my 4th stay at Tidewater and this condo was terrible!

Tidewater 2022 Summer Vacation

Room was clean. Here are the issues specific to 2209; 1. Furniture - outdated , uncomfortable and noisy. One issue, the bed was reported maintenance and leasing co Lovejoy done it’s best to remedy. 2. Couch- outdated uncomfortable,dirty. 3. Washer/Dryer- both noisy & dryer takes abnormal time to complete drying process. 4. Tidewater -constant noise while painting all day , everyday. We love Tidewater, if you stay in this room bring supplies as nothing is provided as in spices , salt/pepper , first aid supplies , etc.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful time! The condo and view were spectacular. Love that this condo included 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. I read some of the other reviews from others and they recommended pre purchasing parking passes online to save us a little bit of money and also the elevator wait time. That was very helpful and made check in faster. And we expected long waits for the elevator but it really wasn't that bad *knock on wood*. Hope this helps others and they enjoyed as much as we did.

Amazing

This was our very first time at the beach and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Our condo was amazing. The floor to ceiling views were incredible. It was a quiet condo which was lovely. My only complaint was the elevator waits but even then that wasn’t awful. We will definitely be back. Thank you Panama City for helping us create such wonderful memories!

Needs a deep clean and some updating

Our stay was nice. However there are a few things that I need to mention. The coffee pot would not work nor the toaster. The air would not get below 72. I mentioned this to mgt on the first day. She got right back to me but nothing was done about it. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms do not work. Again property manager got with me. Someone did cone to look at them but they were not fixed while we were there. The place also needs a deep clean. The tops of furniture ( like the headboard) and the ceiling fans had lots of dust and the baseboards as well. Bed was comfortable and view was great. Just wished for the amount of money we spent we could have had things work. I have pics but do not see a place to upload. They were also provided to management.

Week stay away from home

The condo was great! Very secure and clean. The only downfall we noted during our stay involved the long wait times for elevators; however, I see this when I stay anywhere, and they do their best to streamline the elevator service by having staff to operate them.

The view was nice...

The views are great. The tidewater needs updating. The pool was broken, the hot tub was down, an elevator was broken and the door jam to our unit 2209 fell on my boyfriend's head the day we arrived & RealJoy is trying to charge me for it when it was clearly already broken & flopping around for quite a while. The place wasnt very clean.. sand in the dryer and under the bed & dresser, dirty dishes, stained couches & broken drawer handles. When i tried to chat with someone about the unit online, they just told me to call some phone number & did not help me at all. I dont go on vacation so i can pretend to be a property manager & wait around for repair people.. but apparently RealJoy makes good money leaving things broken and just charging the next unsuspecting victim.. seems sheisty to me. There was also a little girl waiting outside my door with cleaning supplies (knocked on my door an hour before check out which was rude) when I left so obviously the place is being cleaned by a 10 year old ... so a lot of the uncleanness made sense when I saw that.

This condo is on the 22nd floor and we stayed for 3 nights. The condo was not that clean. Lots of sand on floor. Also on the last night lost power 2 times. The elevators were very slow and at times it appeared one of the elevators out of 3 were not working. Would not stay in tgst condo again. Needs updating
