Absolute tranquillity: our large natural stone house (220 m²), built in 1752 (!!) with antique details (old stone floors, old beams, lovingly restored) and lots of atmosphere, is situated in a fantastic panoramic location on a hillside. The landscape is unspoilt, with many old chestnut and cherry trees. Relax on the balcony or on one of the terraces in the garden – sunny and shady spots invite you to forget your everyday life. Swimming spots (rivers and lakes) are within easy reach, and the sea is a good hour's drive away. The large house, with 2 floors, a balcony terrace and 2 garden terraces, is ideal for holidays with several families or a larger group. The upper living room can also be used as a seminar/group room!
However, we would like to point out that larger events/parties with external guests are expressly prohibited!
Special features: Many old details, lovingly restored (new kitchen downstairs, installed in 2011). Ideal for a cosy family holiday or for a larger group who want to holiday with plenty of space. For a joint holiday for several families or small groups, bookable for 2 - 12 people. Sit together comfortably in a large group or find a spot in the sunny or semi-shaded garden to enjoy the magnificent view of the Orbe Valley... The house is equipped with a kitchen, 2 living rooms and 3 bathrooms, so you don't have to 'step on each other's toes'... From the lower apartment, you enter the small 'Placette', a square lovingly restored by the villagers themselves, where people like to meet for a chat – you will be welcomed with open arms!

On most of these routes, you can also ride (almost) undisturbed – no annoying motorhomes, coaches or similar nuisances... – riding pleasure guaranteed!

Road cyclists will also find a wide range of difficulty levels on the well-maintained roads: valley/mountain/high plateau.
Hiking tours start right from the house – or you can drive to one of the locations described in many guidebooks (such as the Gorges d'Heric) and start tours of varying degrees of difficulty there.
