My family have stayed at this property , in different units , many times . Right where you want to be in cape may near everything to see and do . Multiple units to accommodate any size family . Always my first choice
Everything about this place was perfect. The location to the beach and shops is very convenient. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to cook a family meal when we did not feel like venturing out. Would definitely book again if the chance arises.
nice little cottage close to beach and Washington street mall area. really only two complaints. parking is terrible. there is no off-street parking, and trying to find a spot is very hard. sometimes the next street back or more. the air conditioners barely kept the unit cool. they are too old and small for the rooms.
Totally updated and very clean super cute cottage with deck. gas stove, microwave dishwasher, washer and dryer. Perfect for 2 or 3 adults, a little tight for any more people. Perfect location close walk to beach and Washington mall. Will rent again.
Beautiful little cottage, full kitchen etc. close to beach…. Just fyi for people with disabilities- the only access is up the outside stairs. Must park on street- which was a challenge the first day. Cape May is a popular place! It was beautiful though. I would stay at the Cottage again!!!!
It worked for us, a family of four with a teen and a preteen. The location was excellent, in spite of the cottage being located in the back of a lot surrounded by other buildings.
It was very nicely renovated, kitchen, bathroom, big TVs.
The space is very small. The 2nd bedroom with bunk beds is the size of a walk-in closet. The main bedroom is a little tight and the washer and dryer are located there.
But for a budget stay in a great beach town, close to everything you'd want to do and see, this works.

Great location not far from beach or shops. Cute cottage for a small family with 2 adults and 1 or 2 kids. We had 2 kids and 3 adults and expected a sofa bed according to the listing but the furniture was changed so there was no sofa bed. Me and my husband slept on an air mattress on the floor. Although the host did try to accommodate us in a separate 3rd floor apartment I didnt want to be seperated from my kids during the night. The sleeping situation was disappointing. The door also does not lock from the inside so if you have a child or someone who is at risk of elopement this isnt a good option. There is also no ocean view from the living room. I found the listing to be misleading.
This property met our needs as a family of 3, with our son being a sound sleeper. The two bedrooms seem very old, and you have to walk through the bedroom with bunk beds (which is extremely small) to get to the master bedroom from the living area. So, if you do not have sound sleepers, this is not exactly convenient. The renovated areas are very nice, and it's a very short walk to the beach and restaurants/shops, which is very convenient. The outside shower did not work while we were there, which was a bummer but not a huge deal since there was a hose to rinse off. Andy was very responsive to our questions.

Good location with limitations.
We’ve been going to Cape May annually as a family for 5 years. We’ve tried places all together and as we’ve grown, separate spots to accommodate the kids schedules. This looked affordable and well located. It turned out we’d need to stay in the same room as our toddler (not ideal but do-able). End of season, but rugs and furniture were especially dirty. The real kicker however was simply lack of maintenance (awareness?) - a floor level electrical plug hung out of the wall and all three air conditioners had significant mold (and tissues for insulation). We couldn’t even run the AC the first night/ next day as a result. They were replaced the next afternoon (and old rusted out unit left right outside the cottage) but damage was done. Left a night early due to a storm so two of our five days were a bit of a bust. Cottage is located at the end of a walkway that flooded and past the garbage storage for all the other units in the main house. Just not worth what we paid.
I was attending a workshop nearby and wanted a place where my family could feel at home while I was not with them, but still wanted to be close and had a specific budget. This place was charming, located close to the beach and all kinds of other attractions, and felt cozy. My son loved the bunk bed! Communication with the property owner was great, I couldn't have asked for a better experience in Cape May!
My husband and I spent a few days in Cape May for the fall bird migration and this cozy cottage met our needs beautifully. We loved that it was only a block from the beach making it easy to get up to watch the sunrise over the ocean.
We enjoyed our stay. The location is pristine, being that it's a short walk to downtown and all major attractions in the area. Parking wasn't a problem, but I could see how during the season it could be. There is nothing serious about the property that would change my mind to settle anything less than a 5-star rating. Although some of the repairs the contractor did were a little careless, that's not the point. This property is IDEAL for small families for a nice get-away to Cape May, and Andrew was the best host.
