Issues with Property Manager
1. Main sitting area (great room, master bedroom and two toilets were filthy. Heavy dust and cobwebs were in living area. Took us approximately an hour to perform cursory cleanup before bringing in luggage. Turned on bedroom fan at bedtime and room filled with dust in air.
2. Shower drain in master bath was clogged. Contacted property manager who ignored request to have drain cleaned.
3. Small selection of cooking utensils (pots and pans). Utensils were dirty and rusted. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were in disarray.
4. Typically rental vacation homes at this price point provide basic amenities such as bathroom soaps and shampoos. Not here.
5. The property manager, also a real estate agent placed a sale sign on the property the second day of our week stay. She told us it would not be listed until we left. The house was listed on the Zoom the next day after placement of the sale sign .
We have rented high value vacation homes in the western NC area for the past eight years and never had issues. This property manager was clearly out of her element and should seriously reconsider her employment options.
