Welcome to Casa Bungo, our laid-back, surf inspired beach bungalow in the heart of Montauk. Located in between Surf Lodge and the downtown, and an short walk to the beach, our 2-bd bungalow is perfect for families, two couples or small group of friends. Owned by the husband and wife team behind Studio MTK, a local interior design firm, this elevated surf shack is Montauk at its best!

Steffen and Sara met in San Francisco, fell in love in London, married in Brooklyn and now live year round in Montauk. Together, they founded studio MTK (@studiomtk), a full service interior design firm serving homeowners throughout Montauk and the Hamptons. Parents to three young children, they enjoy the simple pleasures of living Out East - fresh air, beach walks, surfing and family time.

Why they chose this property

We saw a ton of potential when we purchased the home and love being able to explore Montauk on foot! The cottage is walkable to town and the beach, with Surf Lodge, the Montauk Brew Co, Adam Mar and so many other great spots just a short walk away. The house faces West and gets pretty amazing light / sunsets as well.

Location can't be beat, and the interior vibe is pretty cool (we think!).
