This immaculate two-bedroom/one-bath vacation rental is situated on the shores of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. It features comfortable accommodations and stunning wide-water and mountain views! Perfect for a family getaway, Cedar Key Cabin includes one queen-size bed, two twins TV, VCR, DirectTV, internet access, central heating and air-conditioning, open beams, and hardwood floors. The home sleeps 4 persons comfortably.

Outdoors there's a deck with a charcoal grill and patio furniture. And there's a shared dock which is great for swimming and boating. Cedar Key Cabin is near the mountains and the Smith Mountain Lake dam and also located in a "NO WAKE" cove which is ideal for swimming.

Welcome: Cedar Key Cabins are two immaculate vacation rentals located on the shores of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. In addition to comfortable accommodations, you'll also enjoy stunning wide-water and mountain views!

Smith Mountain Lake is a boater's and fisherman's paradise. There are 500 miles of shoreline on this 40 mile long, 20,000 acre lake. If you have your own boat, you can launch it at nearby Mitchell's Point Marina and dock it at the Cabin's dock. Boat rentals and wave runners are available at several lake locations. From our location it is about 1000 feet to the main channel of the lake. For the fisherman, we are located on Witcher Creek where the stripers spawn. The lake is stocked with bass, muskies, northern pike, and other small game fish.

Dog friendly!: Dogs are allowed on the property and have a wonderful time at the lake. However, please do not leave them alone. Even though your dog may be comfortable alone at home, dogs are often frightened when left in a strange place and can cause substantial damage. Cats are not allowed.

GUESTS SHOULD BRING LINENS (ONE QUEEN ANDTWO TWIN BEDS) BATH TOWELS, WASHCLOTHS, DISH TOWELS, ETC. Linens may be provided for an additional $80.00 fee.

Great Location

Location on lake was great, close to the marina and restaurants. The cove was a no wake zone which made it nice to float peacefully without waves and we had a spot to tie up our boat to the dock. The cabins were closer together than I thought but we got lucky with no one next to us. Will definitely rent again!!!!

We had a great time staying at the property! Our daughter loved going down to the dock, swimming and feeding the fish. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. The views are amazing. The entrance to the cabin is not wheelchair accessible due to two steps but the cabin and dock were very easy to manage in my motorized chair.

A quiet get away

We thoroughly enjoyed this out of the way property for some peace and quiet. My husband really enjoyed this cove where he could safely maneuver his way along the shore line to watch for wildlife. The cabin was just right and well stocked with everything we needed!
