Step into a hidden oasis on Casey Key. Gorgeous intercoastal views around the pool or from the dock. 2 Ensuite bedrooms and 1 Studio apartment over the garage. Enjoy sunset on the beach access. Perfect for families.
Casey Key bayfront cottage and guest house with private beach. ( Please note sometimes there is no beach access only rocks. It depends on the currents and storms. In 2025 we have a lovely beach with no rocks to climb down. The Public beach access is 4 miles south on the Key).The home has been featured in several national publications. Beautifully decorated with a fun coastal vibe. Light, bright and perfectly adapted for a beach getaway. Walk thirty steps to your own private beach and enjoy the Gulf of Mexico. (Please note depending on the time of year and storms, there may not be any beach. Only rocks. ) Inside the house sliding glass doors open up to a fabulous deck and 40 foot lap pool. Wonderfully appointed guest cottage apartment with kitchen and bath. Both main home and guest cottage enjoy expansive views of the bay with abundant wildlife and passing boats at a distance. Large boat dock with water. Sit back on the dock and enjoy the view within a beautifully manicured mangrove canopy on the bay. Both the main home and guest apartment have hurricane/impact windows and an automatic back up generator with a 500 gallon buried propane tank in the event of power loss. House has tankless water heater and has been re plumbed with pvc.

Beautiful place to stay

Beautiful home in the perfect location! Loved everything about this property. We enjoyed the bikes, kayaks, paddle board and access to the beach. Elizabeth was a great host!

Great place for a large group! Cozy cottage vibe with a great outdoor space and pool! Quick walk to beach and 12 minute drive to big public beach. Also great hosts! :)

Fantastic property!

We rented this home for our spring break and could not be happier. We have teenage children so the separate apartment worked great for us. The property and amenities were fantastic and the owners were very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for something in this area !

Perfect location & Beautiful property!

Just love Casey Key! This property was perfect for our family vacation. Comfortable beds and lots of space. We lived out by the salt water pool. Kayaking & bike riding too. Walked over to beach for sunsets and shelling(right across the road). Beach area was slim, you never know daily with mother nature. Nokomis public beach was just down the road if we wanted to stay on the beach.

Beautiful Bay View on Casey Key

We enjoyed our stay ! Our Family has been vacationing here for over 50 years . Our house was more than wonderful . The Bay View was gorgeous, and the dock was great . We were disappointed in the access to the beach . There needs to be steps put in . But overall this house was wonderful for our family ! Ty for sharing your home with us . Blessings

Idyllic spot for a family vacation

My family has been vacationing in the Sarasota area for 40 years. In the last few years we’ve rented houses on the water. This house was by far the best for us. Not only is this home blessed with a beautiful view of the inland waterway , but it has many amenities like kayaks and bikes. We saw many dolphins and manatees from the dock or on the SUP. It was a great location to host family evenings, as there is plenty of outdoor space to play games and enjoy outdoor eating. We will definitely be back !

Excellent place!

It is the most wonderful spot that you can find on a vacation in any key. We enjoyed every thing that this property had to offer. From the wooden dock with chairs,the gorgeous beach, the town, everything that the owner put in the house, to the adorable cottage itself. The floating dock with kayaks and a paddle board was very easily accessible.The bay was full of mangroves making for a good fishing spot, the view was beautiful and the sunrise from there is extraordinary. Plus there are restaurants and stores close. Our time here was amazing and left me wanting more. Although I would recommend to get a handrail for the wooden dock stairs and a safer beach access. Other than that, everything was perfect !

Terrific accommodation

House and location was xlnt. Quiet, scenic, convenient, easy access from north bridge. A little tricky getting to beach, but very pleasant there. Plenty of extras incl bicycles, kayaks, and boat lift. Lots of towels & linens. Pool was delightful. Owners very helpful and responsive.

We have friends who introduced us to Casey Key. We rented this house for a month one year and when we found out it was for sale, we hoped we could make it ours.

What makes this property unique

The backyard and pool is my favorite “room”. I love the outdoors, the view and the sights and sounds of the water make it perfect.
