The property was even nicer than the properties depict despite the quirky architecture and layout of the bedrooms. The property is the most fully stocked short-let furnished property I've ever stayed at with an incredible variety of crockery, cutlery, stemware, and kitchen essentials including spices. My only contact with the host was prior to booking. She did not respond during our stay, however, her representative Sebastien was super responsive prior to and during the stay. He contacted me offline a few days prior to our arrival about the lack of bedding and towels. The French listing on Abritel seems to be more transparent on this point, however, the VRBO listing does not indicate the lack of these essential amenities. I paid an additional EUR150 for these essentials, and the rest of the stay became much more comfortable with high quality bedding and towels for the shower and pool. Sebastien met us at midnight on arrival for the handover. He provided us with lots of bottled water and delicious cut watermelon and strawberries, very thoughtful! Sebastien also showed up on a Sunday to help address a hot water thermostat issue, which was much appreciated. Our stay was super memorable because of his thoughtful gestures and friendliness to address all matters.
