A perfect birthday celebration

A spacious property for all the family with lots of outdoor eating space. The heated swimming pool was a hit with all the family. It was unseasonably warm so we could have done with some fans or air conditioning downstairs. The heat unfortunately meant many of our party suffered from mosquito bites. Didier was a great help and always available to provide support

Belle maison familiale idéale pour les huit personnes que nous étions, avec toutes les commodités et idéalement placée par rapport à la plage (5 minutes à pied !!). Deux terrasses extérieures pour les déjeuners et dîners. Piscine à bonne température sans excès. Très bon accueil à l'arrivée grâce à Didier. Merci à Dominique Chabanes la propriétaire pour ses petits messages à notre arrivée et à notre départ. Ne pas hésiter pour louer cette maison.

Tout d'abord les échanges avec Madame Chabanne ont été très agréables. La maison est superbe, très bien placée, très bien aménagée et équipée avec tout ce qu'il faut à l'intérieur pour un séjour au top ! La maison est très propre et les extérieurs très bien entretenus. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir si nos aventures nous mènent à Arcachon ! Merci beaucoup d'avoir en plus fait venir les premiers soleils de l'année pour un séjour inoubliable sur le bassin :-)

We have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. We bought this villa 20 years ago, after having rented a property for 18 on the beach of Arcachon, and we become regular visitors of Pyla, which has, in short, friendly residents with a privileged family oriented atmosphere, and invigorating Atlantic climate, and a blue sky making us forget about the Parisian greyness. The Pyla allows everyone to practice his or her favourite sport, such as fishing, golf, tennis, and cycling. Still working as entrepreneurs after age 62, my wife and I wanted to explore more frequently the bay, enjoy our favourite restaurants (La Cabane, La Co(o)niche, the restaurant at Hôtel Ville D'hiver, among others), make a boat trip to Cap Ferret, visit the vineyards of Bordeaux, with the charming Saint-Émilion, or play golf in the wonderful golf course of Arcachon.

Why they chose this property

I prepare to retire, and I want to spend more on the beach and in this villa, which is ideal for receiving children, grandchildren and friends. My wife and I want to keep our apartment in Neuilly, where we have lived for more than 35 years. The costs increase and our revenues decrease, so we have decided to allow our tenants to enjoy our villa during the periods of time we do not live there. Now, we are consider as people from the Dune of Pyla all year-round. Maybe, our guests will also fall in love with the bay and become people from the Dune of Pyla too.

What makes this property unique

We have fully renovated this villa, which offers all the comforts, and my wife spent full days refining the garden, supported by a company specialised in heavy-duty works. Little by little, we have bought pieces of furniture, works of art, tables, and drawings integrating this decoration with "a little touch from the Dune of Pyla." This villa boasts a unique location close to everything, where one can dream in an extraordinary place. The Ocean is not a simple holiday destination, but a residence combining aesthetics and comfort of living.
