The property is in a great location, close to beach and restaurants. We especially loved the restaurants on the beach and the beautiful sunsets. The property is very well equipped and very clean. The host was super responsive. It’s can be a little noisy lord music from a nearby resort but hey! you're on vacation !!

Great views and a great location.

Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed this penthouse with fantastic views! Other reviews mentions some considerations but honestly the views, the location, and the price point make this condo a perfect stay! We will be back!

Was ok. Place was a bit rundown. Should have stayed at a hotel. Room would have been nicer and bed would have been made each day.Great view and fellow in the lobby was a great help.If you are tall, good luck showering. They are small.

Cant beat the view

We had an excellent stay at Torre Malibu. The unit was comfortable and the view is truly incredible. We love how walkable the location is both to the beach and into town. We will definitely stay here again on future trips!

Dreamy Penthouse

We absolutely loved this unit -- it was clean, spacious, comfortable and had a fantastic view of the ocean and sunsets. We could see whales in the water from the patio. Building was safe and location was perfect. The only drawback was the numerous stairs required to get to the building entrance.

Great location and building

The building is well maintained. The view from the unit is spectacular! The unit is very clean but could use some freshening up and some new glasses and dishware. Maybe a useful memo about where to place trash, cans bottles, how to work air conditioners etc... Also, very glad it's 2 full baths, if you're tall, hard to shower in the primary bathroom. Over all, a comfortable, enjoyable place to stay.

This condo has an amazing view. Need a few upgrades. Some tiles were loose on floor. Would need 2 lounge chairs in the deck instead of one. One of the patio chairs was also broken. The view made up for all of that though.

Excellent views

Property management was very professional and thorough with their information and availability. You simply could not find better views! The apartment was well equipped with kitchen supplies, linen, pillows, and paper products. If you are someone who struggles with stairs though, please be advised that it’s a steep uphill to the building gate and then 46 stairs to the elevator. Also, just a heads up that there’s a loud disco a few buildings over. That said, we would definitely rent this unit again if we return to PV, and we’re in our 70’s.

Gorgeous view

This place could be so much better. It has the best views, I’d very comfortable and roomy with a nice kitchen. However, there are broken floor tiles everywhere, the balcony is not well furnished and the kitchen is not properly stocked with wares. There is an oven with no bakeware. There are no instructions anywhere on how to use the oven, where the laundry facilities are or how much it costs. No instructions on how to use the safe. Check-in and check-out times inconvenient. The owners/managers need to do better.

Terrible experience

Although the place was what they said it was I had reserved for 10 days and left on day 2. The bed was rock hard. The elevator didn’t work at check in and again at check out. The water pressure was too weak for a shower and there was no hot water. Internet access was emailed by someone other than the renter so didn’t see it and could not get on line. There was a coffee machine but no pot. There were wine glasses but no corkscrew. Over all awful experience.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN A VACATION RENTAL EVER

I can't say anything good about this property, other than the view and location are nice. But what I can say is that this is the worst property management I have ever seen. First, they gave me the wrong code and so we sat sweltering in a dark hallway for hours until we could flag down a security guard. Then the place was not clean. There was crusty semen on the couch. Yes. Disgusting. Then the outdoor furniture was nearly non-exsitent. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICS. only three chairs and broken outdoor table. The toilet was leaking at the base. And there was no fire detection - they removed it. But the worst thing was that Vacasa the manager only sent emails saying they were working on it, yet they did nothing. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM VACASA AND THIS PLACE

Unparalleled View

The view from this penthouse is incomparable. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay of 11 days. I have a few constructive comments below, but I want to underline that we loved it, would definitely come again, and recommend to other guests. Only negative that cannot be corrected is that it is noisy from Mantamar, but they shut down around 11 at the latest, so most guests should be able to sleep undisturbed. There are a few features that need an update, such a bit of paint touchup here and there. Some of the laminate on the doors is a bit warped, and the bathroom door in the bathroom is fiddly to get to close properly - maybe some WD40? The bedroom curtains need replacement, as the sea air has corroded the track and they can no longer be drawn to keep out sun. Add a long-neck lighter for the stove - the matches are laughably bad/cheap and it was truly miraculous that we somehow lit the burner before we popped down to the OXXO for a 30 peso lighter. One of the features we enjoyed was the social atmosphere in the pool. Because it is located in the entrance courtyard, those heading out or returning for the day pass by, and a quick "hola!" will bring you interesting conversations and potentially new friends.

Exceptional view

The view from this condo is amazing, you have views of the ocean and city. The condo itself is nice, but there is room for improvement. The kitchen is stocked with minimal cooking supplies. The quality of the small appliances is basic. There is a 5 cup coffee maker, with no timer etc. Some higher quality items would give the condo a more luxurious feel, it is a penthouse. There were no food storage items, containers or chip clips etc. Bedding and towels were nice, the king bed was firm but comfortable. Neither bathroom had a bath mat or shower rug for getting out of the shower, we had to use one of the hand towels provided. The bathrooms were somewhat rustic. This is where I feel the condo needs some work. The showers have very low water pressure and the ceiling in the primary bathroom, adjacent to the bedroom, is extremely low. My husband and I are not tall people. We opted to shower in the other bathroom our entire stay. Tile condition in both bathrooms need some work, there is some mold etc. Also, we stayed 9 days. We were given one kitchen towel, that we had to use as a mat below the dish rack. 1 roll of paper towels. And 4 rolls of toilet paper. We had to watch our usage. Also the quality of the paper items wasn't great, restaurant bathrooms had better quality TP. Not all of the ceiling fans worked, the one over the dining table particularly. The other two were very noisy and showed their age. Would I stay here again? Yes. The condo has the best view and the building is safe and beautiful. It's very quiet during the day and the pool wasn't ever busy. The building staff is helpful, they won't go out of there way to help you because the property isn't managed by them. The condo is a 3 star property because of the view. Some small things could be improved to make this an exceptional rental.

Terrible Property Management Experience

Terrible experience staying at this property. Fantastic view and location and kitchen was fairly well equipped. Otherwise, many issues: Plumbing problems, seal on toilet needed to be replaced and every flush resulted in water seeping all over the floor, kitchen sink had bad leak which seeped inside cupboard. We had to put a pot under there as it was a bad leak. No hot water in 2nd bathroom. Prop manager did not respond to our complaints about these issues for 2 days, they then fixed 2 of the problems, but still no hot water in bathroom. The most serious issue was that our safe was broken and we could not lock it. The first day, they sent someone with a key for us to use, that was then locked in a lockbox in our room. We came home one day from being out all day and someone had come in, without notifying us, and removed our safe key. Our frantic calls and emails and Whatsapp messages were not answered until the next day. We were extremely we had been robbed. We had no money with us as everything was locked in the safe. When they brought the key back, they told us it was the Master key and they needed it for someone else. There was zero communication on this All of our valuables were still there thankfully. Also we inquired as to whether there was luggage storage available as we had to check out at 10; they never responded and I had to send a second note to them. They do not offer this. The staff onsite at the Torre Malibu were wonderful, but they cannot help or do anything for you if you are staying in one of Vacassa's suites. The condo itself needs upgrades, it's fairly worn looking; there are no night tables or chest of drawers in the bedroom. If the communication was better with the prop manager, we would not even mention the issues, but honestly it was the worst we have ever experienced. We would not use Vacassa again.

Amazing views!

We still are talking about the views here! Great area and super friendly residents who own other units in the building. If your early to bed guests, the nightlife is a bit loud but luckily it ends between 10-11.

Beautiful views

Very nice condo. It was peaceful and quiet. Great for a couple or small family. The hotel nearby can be loud at times while doing shows but we were still about to make it to sleep with no problem.

No local management

The Apartment is great. However, we had a problem with a beeping smoke alarm that had been locked in a cupboard. The property management company assured us they would resolve the problem but after multiple calls during our week long stay no one ever arrived to resolve the very noisy and annoying beep. It seems the property is managed from the US with no local staff.
