*NEW hot tub with amazing lakefront view installed October 18, 2023 and super comfortable master bed in June 2023. Our dog friendly modern Nordic inspired 576 sq. ft. little cabin "Liten Stuga" is your perfect little lakefront getaway! Stunning views of Popple Lake is perfect for SWIMMING & FISHING from our dock during the summer. During the winter months we are conveniently located near snowmobile trails and good ice fishing right on the lake. Located in the country only 1.5 hours east of the Twin Cities & 30 min from Eau Claire! 1+ acre, 160 ft of private shoreline, dock, deck, firepit, & screened in gazebo. Guests have access to our complimentary hot tub (all year), paddle boat, canoe, aqua lily pad & 2 kayaks with signed contract/waiver but are subject to availability and season. Fully stocked kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bath & small loft. Sleeps 4. $50 pet fee per dog, 2 dogs max. Guests over 18 must send a picture of their ID to verify guests listed on contract. 3 security cameras onsite.

We had a wonderful stay!! The Liten Stuga was warm and cozy, had lots of windows for us to admire the gorgeous view from. The hot tub was so nice. Definitely enjoyed the outdoors from mainly inside the hot tub since it was colder during our stay. If you are going to stay in the Eau Claire / Chippewa Falls area we highly recommend you stay here.

Awesome place to stay with a single family! Located right on the lake with a beautiful view and the feeling of seclusion. The hot tub was an added bonus especially on some cold winter nights. It is located conveniently close to Chippewa falls where you can find a lot of good restaurants and shops!

The view from this cottage was incredible - waking up to beautiful lake sunrises, getting nightly stunning sunsets, a mostly secluded area where we could hot tub and fish and canoe. What a wonderful hideaway for two for the week. The dock and screened in porch were wonderful bonuses.

Great family vacation

Cabin was just as described and very clean. Worked great for our family. Kids had a blast swimming and fishing. The amenities down by the dock (swim mat, tubes, kayaks, etc.) made for a great time without having to go anywhere. Host checked in to make sure everything was ok for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoys traveling and getting away from city life as much as possible. What a perfect opportunity to own such a beautiful lakefront property close to home for us to experience but also to share with others! With my husband being in the medical field, our cabin has become a staple place for us to relax and rejuvenate while our kids get to experience and enjoy country/lake life.

We purchased the Liten Stuga in December 2020 and started renovating it right away ourselves (with the exception of the new well& sewer). After 6 months of countless hours of hard labor we completed our remodeling project and love every square inch of it. Know that when you stay at our cabin a lot of love and positive energy has gone into making it a perfect getaway.

Why they chose this property

Our Liten Stuga dog friendly property offers guests a perfect place to get away from it all. From the privacy of our 1+acre wooded property to the untouched forest across the lake creates a great escape from it all. This newly remodeled cabin has been completely redone from floor to ceiling by the owners in a simple modern Nordic decor. Stunning lake views can be viewed through the property and inside the cabin. Our master bedroom has a comfortable queen memory foam mattress with soft cotton sheets for a good nights rest and plenty of extra pillows for each guest. Two twin memory foam mattresses with soft cotton sheets are located in the cozy loft along with some games, cards and puzzles for guests to enjoy. Bedding and linens are provided for each bed. Fully stocked kitchen with a mid size fridge, microwave, glass top stove and a dishwasher. Outside guests will enjoy our complimentary kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, lily pad float mat June-September. Outdoor games such as crochet, bocce ball, kube, trac ball, a hula hoop, and mini disc golf can all be found for guests to use inside the gazebo. Popple Lake is a clean spring fed clean located in the quiet county away from the hustle and bustle. Brunet Island and Lake Wissota State Parks as well as the Chippewa State Moraine Recreation Area are all within 30 minutes of the cabin for those wanting additional outdoor experiences nearby. Come enjoy our perfect getaway at the Liten Stuga!
