Good Crash Pad

Mostly nice stay. However, I would consider this more as a place to sleep rather than hang out. There were several things about this place that could be improved: the curtain rod on the front door was broken and the curtain kept falling off, the cupboards were dirty and had crumbs in them, one of the couches was severely worn down, and the night light in the bathroom didn't work. None of these things made the stay "bad" but all the little things definitely add up. I would also have appreciated a recycling bin on site.

Great Stay

We were in town for a wedding and had a great stay. The lodge next door had some great food and was very convenient. Communication with the property manager was very friendly and prompt. Would absolutely stay here again!

Very cozy and welcoming

Our stay was very nice. The place is very clean, welcoming, and cozy. I thought that maybe being next to a bar it would be loud, but we didn’t hear anything at all it was very nice!

Girls Weekend

Wow, everyone had a Great time! Cabin was clean and comfortable. Dan assisted us with pontoon rental for the entire day. Lake Wissota has lots of places to explore. Wine tasting at Dixon’s, hiking at the State Park and appetizers and drinks at a few ,very cool, bar and grills! Definitely planning a return. Thanks for an awesome weekend. Kay

Great location on the lake!

Home was beautiful and well maintained! Easy instructions for entering and exiting the premises. Rebecca was helpful with our questions and concerns. Only wish would be for maybe a second queen bed rather than 2 sets of bunk beds in the 2nd room (and a hair dryer). The Lodge across the way was also a plus for dinner and drinks. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful place

It was all good. Scenery was awesome. next to water. Mosquitos could have stayed away. And able to do laundry would have been a plus. otherwise, comfortable, nice, spacious, clean and views were great.

Outstanding property excited to stay again!

Stayed here for a family reunion this past weekend. First of all, the rental was immaculately clean. The floors, counters, fridge, ceiling fan, all dust free and spotless. Following previous reviews advice, we packed our own hairdryer, but everything else was provided including ample towels. There is a restaurant/bar across the lot but it is dead quiet after 8 pm. The beds/bedding were very comfortable and we felt the whole process was seamless. Looking forward to booking next year!

Property needs some repairs. Hole in wall in bedroom. Bathroom light needs to be taken down and clean. Couch in main living area was on its last leg. Chairs outside on the patio were in bad condition. Didn't use them. We used our own chairs. The garbage can on the patio smelled so bad. Not sure when the last time it was emptied. The parking there was a bit disappointing. I didn't realize that the lot is part of the restaurant and we might not be able to park in front of the place we rented. People using the lake had parked in our spots. Maybe have a sign on the railing parking is for guests only. Place did its purpose for us. But I don't think I would stay here again. But the cabin was very nice on the inside. Just needs some maintenance and more detailed cleaning.

We're glad you found the cabin very nice inside and appreciate you taking the time to share detailed feedback. We were aware of the small hole in the bedroom drywall, though our maintenance team was unable to repair it between rentals. The bathroom light fixture and outdoor garbage can have since been cleaned as part of a deep clean of the unit. We also appreciate your comments regarding the couch and patio chairs. For parking, the lot overlaps with restaurant parking, but additional spaces are available at the front and rear of the building for guests. Thank you for sharing your experience and helping us better understand what stood out during your stay.

Nice property

Nice and clean just a few things that could be a bit better. Hot pads for the stove, wine opener, and a hair dryer would be nice. The coffee pot is on its last legs as well. Instructions on the dishwasher are needed as you need to plug it in. Overall decent quality.
