Great when a rental exceeds expectations

The house was well appointed and better than the pictures. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to everything that we wanted to see. Can't imagine a better stay!

Lovely, comfortable, clean, well-maintained property. Spacious rooms. Quiet. Plenty of storage. Well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to host a dinner for guests. Very private outdoor space. Lisa, the property manager, checked in via text on day 2 to ensure all was as expected. Very responsive to a later question. Excellent location. Will stay here next time if available!

Wonderful Getaway

This is our second time to stay and we're already talking about our next stay. It is perfectly located, classic old-style New Mexico decor, but with modern bathrooms and kitchen. The owner is very nice and responsive.

Perfect property

This house was perfect…clean, well stocked, comfortable, quiet, great location. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The property manager was wonderful and very responsive. I highly recommend this house for a stay in Santa Fe.

Luxurious Stay in Santa Fe

Beautiful property within easy walking distance of Canyon St. art galleries and restaurants. Charming fenced yard with comfortable seating and dining spaces. Well-appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need for an elaborate meal or merely coffee and toast for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Simply gorgeous!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is has high-end appliances and is well stocked with anything a cook might need. We ate many of our meals at home and enjoyed using the wonderful kitchen for cooking and prep. We, also, enjoyed eating outside and then relaxing on the beautiful patios. The neighborhood has many things to do and lots of eateries within easy walking distance. This was a perfect choice for us.

August Family Trip

La Serena is absolutely wonderful. The house is perfectly appointed-the kitchen had exactly everything that we needed; the beds & bedding were scrumptious; the grounds were immaculate and the home is beautifully decorated. We had an amazing stay! The owners and Lisa have made this a perfect place to really get away and recharge. I'm so thankful we were able to stay in this special home.

Lovely spot...

We have never stayed at a property that was better managed than La Serena. The completeness of the amenities and accessories - kitchen utensils, linens, paper products - is amazing. They even had a salad spinner. The manager, Lisa, is very responsive.

Charming adobe in a great neighborhood

La Serena is absolutely charming with wonderful Santa Fe decor. Two master suites are perfect for 2 couples. As others have stated, Garcia street can be loud if you are in the courtyard, but the house indeed is quiet. If you get a chance, walk down the side streets and you will see how wonderful the neighborhood is.

Excellent property

This is well maintained, wonderfully decorated house. The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are nice. Parking is very close to street, but house is set back enough to be quiet. Off the beaten path enough to get away from crowds, but Canyon Road and Plaza are still within walking distances (10-20 minutes). Overall, a very nice property.

Great house, great location

This is a very comfortable and attractive home with a well stocked modern kitchen and good parking. The bathrooms are well lighted with great showers. The house is walking distance (1+ mile) to the Plaza, Museum Hill, and just blocks from Canyon Road. Caution—García St. Is busy, and noisy when you are outside, though the house itself is very well insulated.

Perfect rental for two couples

La Serena is a really nice VRBO. It's tastefully decorated, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Great location within walking distance of all local attractions, including museums, galleries, shopping and fantastic restaurants. Lisa, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful. She stopped by to locate a missing remote and we spent some time chatting about the area and she provided recommendations for several restaurants that were on the mark. We really enjoyed our week in Santa Fe and would absolutely rent here again.

Lovely house in a great location!

We have stayed at many vacation homes in the Historic Eastside of Santa Fe. La Serena ranks as one of the best. The location is perfect...close to our favorite places (Garcia St Books, Canyon Rd, etc.). It was easy to find and plenty of dedicated parking. The decor and furnishings are lovely. Indoor furnishings are high quality. The bed is very comfortable. Outdoor seating areas are perfect for reading, having a cocktail, dinner, or just watching the birds. The kitchen is a cook's delight...Jenn-Air appliances, gas range, All-Clad pots/pans, high quality knives, every appliance & tool one could ask for. The only suggestion we have is for more variety in the bar glassware. Lisa, who manages the property, is attentive and helpful. We would definitely come back to La Serena and look forward to our next visit.

Amazing Home with an unbelievable host

The home is beautiful, furnishings are classic and its fully appointed with every necessary item and luxury item. My partner is a professional chef and could not say enough great things about kitchen and contents. Location was simply perfect. Lisa was so lovely and ensured our stay was comfortable and flawless. She was always available to answer questions and would check in regularly. We simply loved our experience and could not recommend the home and host with any greater endorsement.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at at this VRBO three times now for extended stays each time. We just can’t stop coming back! Beautiful, comfortable and perfectly outfitted for work or play- located 2 blocks from Canyon and half a mile from the Plaza- you really don’t need a car. We both work from home and had ample space to spread out and conduct any business; we love to cook and were delighted with a Cook’s Kitchen with every gadget, state of the art appliances, and grill, and beautifully landscaped gardens to enjoy our creations. There are many seating areas outdoors to enjoy the hummingbirds, sunset, stars, and your beverage of choice. Lisa was an amazing property manager- any issue we had- and there were very few- she had taken care of with a moment’s notice. Tastefully decorated and cozy- the beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of anything we needed like towels, pillows, blankets- a detail often overlooked. We cannot recommend this property enough and hope to be back soon!
