The house is beautiful inside! Very peaceful to sit outside and have a fire. We had no issues cooking dinners in the kitchen! Had a wonderful birthday weekend!
Noras Nest was a great place to stay for our family of 5. We docked our pontoon there and spent time on the lake fishing and tubing. The kids also caught a lot of fish bluegill and perch from the dock. The cottage was super clean when we got there and had all the amenities we needed. Really enjoyed the nice porches for grilling and dining. Hosts were very friendly.
Wonderful people who worked with me and helped my family tremendously during a transition period where we were purchasing a new home. Property is well taken care of and in a quiet neighborhood.
This host worked with my family to help us while we moved during winter right before this holidays. We were in between selling and purchasing a new home and I cannot be more grateful for the response time and hospitality.
Noras nest was yhe perferct spot we we're in town for a friend's wedding and it was absolutely perfect location was wonderful fishing was great and the house overall is just fantastic
Absolutely the nicest house we have ever rented. All the finishes are top quality, it was super clean and we lacked for nothing. One of the air conditioners was not working am Ed was over in a half hour to replace it. Flowers and cookies upon arrival were over the top.
The pictures do not do it justice. The place is immaculate with a fantastic layout. We loved the fireplace on those chilly nights and the water view is so relaxing and peaceful.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house and renovation work is so beautiful and it felt cozy and homey. The location is amazing, we really loved being right by the water. We had a fun and relaxing time. It’s also close to stores, restaurants, and other activities which was nice and convenient. We are planning on staying again next year and definitely recommend this place to others!
Norine & Ed have a great place in Jamestown NY on the Chadakoin River which leads out to Chautauqua Lake. We had a great time with our family. The house is great and the yard is perfect for backyard game's. The river with dock gave us a place to dock our jetski for fun on the lake. i
We stayed for the weekend and had a great time. The town was very nice. The Pub, southern tier brewery and distillery as well as the National Comedy club were all great. Would come back again for sure. The house was very cute and clean and perfect to go fishing out on dock. Very nice neighborhood and atomsphere.
Beautiful pictures do not do it justice. Easy access yo Chautauqua Lake. It was very quiet. Can fish from the babk but the dock was broken so you cannot get in on site. Nora Nest is a return visit for sure
We were looking for a place to do a fishing trip with our 25 foot pontoon boat. Nora's nest was perfect. The dock accomodated our boat great, and there was room to park the trailer. The house was clean and modern and it was great to stay there. The river was very good fishing and the water was calm. It was a 15 minute boat trip to be out on the lake and only that long cause it is a no wake zone. Overall i was very impressed.
This location on the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to throw a line in without leaving the property. My husband even caught many bass, perch and catfish. The other things available outside were cornhole and a fire pit. It was a wonderful experience.
Ed and Norine,
We loved our 2 week stay at Nora's Nest. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
We are definitely returning next year!

About the host
Hosted by Norine or Ed Cramer
This property is owned by Ed and Norine Cramer. We live in Lakewood NY. Ed went to school at Southwestern Central High School and JCC and Norine went to Frewsburg High School , JCC and SUNY Cortland
Why they chose this property
This property was my husband's grandma's home and bait shop. Hence the name "Nora's Nest". After her passing the home sat vacant for many years. My husband and I were blessed with the opportunity to take ownership of the property. We have spent the past 3.5 years tearing down structures on the property, such as other homes, woodshops and a bait house. We have cut down trees, raised the yard and remodeled the porch and home. We put in a new dock. Nora was an amazing woman, and her son Dale was an amazing father to us. We wanted to keep this property going in their memory until we can someday retire here. It has a beautiful view of the Outlet in the Summer and Fall months. We were married outside on the property next door.
What makes this property unique
This property is ideal for a family of 4-6 that wants to get away from City life and simply relax on the lake. There is always something to do within a 20 minute to half hour drive. The Casino and Ski resorts are about about a half hour to 45 minute drive away.
