Unique property and kind owners. Very clean, would stay again!
We loved this little property. It was just right for our needs. Everything was clean and just as it should be in “grandma’s” house. Made us feel right at home.
Just like coming home! Home is perfectly located. It was extremely clean, comfortable and well supplied. We enjoyed meeting the owners. They are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!!!
Perfect accommodations. Very clean, comfortable and quaint -- exactly what I was looking for! Host was very communicative and had the home ready for us the moment we checked in. Kitchen was well equipped. I would definitely book again!

Thanks so much for the wonderful review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!
Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to make other arrangements. Both Michael and Jeanette were incredibly gracious in working with us. Great property and beautiful area. They make you feel right at home. Michael is a great conversationalist too
Very comfortable, well cared for and well equipped home, even if the layout is a bit strange. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the world go by. The host was most friendly and helpful. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Lake James and we will happily stay here again.
This property was cozy and had old country living feel to it. We had 4 adults and so slept comfortably. The host was very accommodating with our parking needs. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.
My son, husband and me, and grandsons enjoyed our stay immensely. The home is well-appointed with many amenities and has an amazing view of the mountains. The host is very accommodating and thoughtful. We had a lovely stay. Love this area

Thank you so much for your kind words. I wish we would have been able to fellowship with y'all a little more.
Went over and above to accommodate my coworker and I with a place to stay close to our job. We live 3 hours away and could not find anything local. Their response time along with their geniune kindness will have us feeling blessed for years to come.
Cozy & Well-Appointed Cottage with Breathtaking Mountain Views
This is a cozy home with amazing views of the mountains - you can see the sunrise over the mountains on one side of the home and the sunset over the mountains on the other side. The home is 10 mins from downtown Morganton, and very close to some great hiking. The kitchen is well-appointed and beds comfy. The property manager was very nice and accommodating. We continued to extend our stay as we enjoyed staying here.
Quaint house. Very Clean. Four bunk beds, double bed, and twin bed. Slept 7 of us easily. Lots of counter space in the kitchen. WiFi. Lots of towels. Convenient location to town. It listed a hot tub in the listing but there wasn’t one. I think that was an accident.
My coworker and I were in town fir debris clean up from hurricane Helene. We could not find any accommodations anywhere. I messaged the host and asked if it was possible to get us in the following day if there was a cancelation? To my surprise I recieved a message saying we were in luck. This gentleman was a blessing in all ways.We recommend this place to any responsible adults looking for a quite little retreat clise to town.
The home was clean and well tended after. It is also a vintage home with a few modern touches so keep that in mind if you are looking for something modern or chic (I rarely am). We were comfortable in the home for our one night stay. One thing to note that I did not realize is that the bunk bed room is open to the living room area. Overall I feel very lucky to have shared space with what felt like a very special family home.
