Modern Grand Pavillon Home: Steps to Beach, Pool Access

This idyllic island home is situated in the popular Grand Pavilion neighborhood in the heart of the gated community of Wild Dunes Resort. With access to the boardwalk & oceanfront pools and just steps from the pristine sandy beaches of the Isle of Palms, it's the perfect family getaway for those who want to experience Charleston's island communities.

The first floor of the home hosts the main living and dining areas. The living room features modern furnishings and a large flat-screen TV. The dining area has table seating for 6 guests. The renovated kitchen, which is separate from the living space, contains upgraded cabinetry, appliances, and countertops. There is a large central island with three bar-height stools, which is a great spot for entertaining while cooking. The kitchen has all the cookware, utensils and supplies needed for a delicious meal. Guests will enjoy have a cup of coffee at the small breakfast table under the bay windows overlooking the porch area as well.

Just off the kitchen is unique sunroom, which also doubles as a library area, to cozy up with a good book or just relax after a day in the sun. Open the sliding door in this room to step out onto the back patio deck with table seating for two, gas grill, and scenic neighborhood views.

There is one bedroom on the main first level. This bedroom (Bedroom #1) has a Queen bed, TV, and private bathroom with tub/shower combo. The remaining three bedrooms and laundry area is on the second floor of the home. The second bedroom (Bedroom #2) has a Queen bed, TV, and private bathroom with walk-in shower. The third bedroom (Bedroom #3) has two Twin beds, TV, and private bathroom with tub/shower combo. The last bedroom (Bedroom #4) is the Master suite. It features a King bed, TV, large windows with reading area, and a spacious private bath with walk-in shower, separate soaking tub, and dual vanity. It also has access to the large second-floor screened porch overlooking the live oaks and Grand Pavilion community.

Fantastic home perfectly located. Very clean and well-stocked. Comfortable beds, lots of room to spread out, and nice sitting areas. Walk to shops, restaurants, pickleball/golf. My one small suggestion is to have a few more staple items on hand - such as salt & pepper and cooking oil.

House was very clean and inviting. It is a bit dated (mostly bathrooms) but this didn't bother me at all, and having so many bathrooms gave us plenty of space to spread out. It was well stocked and even had lots of games and puzzles to occupy us on the rainy days. The location within Wild Dunes was really nice. We didn't know anything about the area, but this spot allowed us to walk easily to the shops and restaurants over at Sweetgrass. And of course, the beach was a super short walk... so easy!! The only thing I wish we had known is that you can only use the pool area of Grand Pavilion (pools by the beach), not the Boardwalk Inn or Sweetgrass Inn pools. Overall lovely stay!

Great central location on a quiet street. Plenty of places to relax and lounge — glad we had a large dining table, couch, and library space to spread out. Extremely well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and loved the screened porch off the primary bedroom.

This house is perfect! Beautiful updated kitchen, spacious bedrooms. Perfect house for adult groups as each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Location was awesome, literally less than a 1 minute walk to a beautiful beach! Wild Dunes is a great resort community - the Inn was about a 5 minute walk from the house and had firepits, cornhole, foosball and a super cute place to hang out at night.

Charleston Couples Trip

Overall, extremely nice property. Great for 4 couples. Everyone had their bedroom and bath. The last steps on the staircases were a little deceiving only because they blended in with the floor. A few of us missed the last step on a couple of occasions. Maybe add a black strip to the last steps on staircase leading to top floor bedrooms. Beds were fabulous. Area was fantastic. We were able to see some fabulous sunrises. Easy access to everything. Great restaurants too. Property Managers were great as well. Resort personnel so friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful home - convenient beach access

The house was beautiful and spacious. We had three and a half couples - all family. We loved the sitting room and even had a charcuterie cheese/meats/wine/beer "dinner" in the sitting room. The walk to the beach was so convenient - just 3 minutes! Our stay was short, and it rained quite a bit in those three days, but we had a great time. The only reason I gave this an overall "4" rating was due to Bedroom #2 on the second floor with the queen bed. The bed had a definite depression in the center and was extremely uncomfortable. The couple who stayed in this room had some issues sleeping and recommended that the bed be replaced asap. Additionally, the ceiling light/fan in that bedroom were not operational at all. When we called, maintenance brought in a window box fan, but couldn't fix the ceiling light/fan. Luckily, the room had two table lamps for light. All the other beds/bedrooms were good, although the tv remote in the master bedroom was broken. This was replaced when maintenance came for Bedroom #2. The only other item I'll bring up was that we were supposed to get wrist bands to use the resort pools, but didn't receive them. We were in town to explore Charleston and were here for only 3 days, so the wrist bands were not an issue for us, but could have been had our stay been longer.

Lovely home near the beach and pavilion

This home provided the perfect girls/moms getaway. We loved having so much storage in the kitchen, counter space to prepare meals, and the gathering spaces in the living room and sun room. The proximity to the beach was amazing! The beds were very comfortable. The only critiques I would give is, it would be nice to have a powder room downstairs so we wouldn't have intrude on the main floor bedroom/bath and the locations of the dishwasher and over were somewhat tight in the kitchen. But, overall everything was excellent and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location but house needs some work

We had a great time at the beach and pools. House has a nice garage for bikes and cleaning up after beach. House is nice but we did find potato chips on both couches. They may have forgotten to vacuum them which I could have easily forgotten. But, I also saw at least 2 or 3 roaches. There was also damage to the steps walking into the house (railing was not nailed in) and could have been dangerous to kids. In back screened in porch, the screen and part of the railing were also torn and loose. Didnt look like anyone did a final inspection of the place before renting it.
