Whetstone 307/Ski-in Ski-out Condo next to the ski school! A/C in Summer/Hot Tub

You can't get any closer to the slopes! This luxury condo is right at the base for skiing in the winter, hiking in the summer, and did we mention it even has A/C for those warm summer days! Add in floor to ceiling windows that overlook the slopes and a private hot tub, this is one vacation rental you won't want to leave.

Step inside this one of a kind luxury condo at the base area and begin your vacation.  The main floor consists of the great room with a wall of windows looking out to the slopes and a beautiful woodburning fireplace for those chilly Colorado nights.  The gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances is well stocked and ready for whatever meal you want to whip up for the group. The master bedroom is on this level and has a comfy king bed and en-suite bath.  For those warm days the master bedroom is air conditioned and great for those mid-day naps. On the second floor you will find a media/TV room, desk area, and a guest bedroom with queen bed, along with a full bath. This bedroom is air conditioned as well. On the third floor there is a sumptuous guest bedroom with en-suite bath and vaulted ceiliings. This bedroom has a queen bed as well as a daybed and twin trundle making it perfect for the kids. This room is not air conditioned but with the great windows and skylights it isn't needed due to the ventilation and the cross breeze. Of course in the winter cuddle up under the comforter and get some rest to carve those perfect turns on the hill! 

At the end of the day relax in the oversized private hot tub right on the front deck or walk over to one of several restaurants in the area. Regardless of the season the location of this condo can't be beat. So hurry up and book, Whetstone 307 is waiting!

Family Spring Break

Our family had a wonderful time at the VRBO and skiing at Crested Butte. The condo was directly above the ski school and ski/walkable to 3 lifts. I would definitely recommend staying here with family/friends!

Multi-gen family stay and everyone loved it. Perfect location for easy access to and from lifts. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Chef’s dream kitchen for prepping family meals. The boot / glove dryer and storage closet was a huge plus for ensuring we started each day with ready to go equipment. We had such a great time stayed at your condo. You could not ask for a more perfect spot. Just walk out to the lifts. The condo was beautiful. The only negative was all the stairs.

From outside, the building looked run down. But once you went into the condo, it was fantastic. Great bathrooms; spacious, and a great hot tub. All the amenities you needed and lots of extra pillows.

Nice, clean house!

Beautiful home. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. Looked just the pictures and was very clean! We loved watching the mountain bikers come down the mountain on the trails. Parking near the condo gets a little tricky during the day but we always found a spot. We would definitely stay here again!

Modern Style and Excellent Location

Very nice, modern style condo that sits right over the CB Ski School. Nicely furnished and perfect location as you literally ski to the porch when you're ready to call it a day. The hot tub is a dream after a long day on the slopes. Annie and the Iron Horse team were very courteous and helpful! Definitely recommend this rental.

As advertised. The well stocked up to date condo had everything you could ask for and more. Location can't be beat as you watch skiers come down the hill during the day and the mountain as a moonlit backdrop at night while you relax in the large hot tub. Fireplace was nice as we played board games late night.

The location was great. Right by the ski lifts. The inside of the property was very nice, clean, well kept up. It had 3 nice bedrooms, and the kitchen was very well equipped. There is no dining room table, which was a little strange. The building it is in is a little run down and old. The building could use an upgrade.

Epic biking trip in Crested Butte

Every aspect of this property was PERFECT for our biking adventure. The location was amazing as we were steps away from lifts/trails on the mountain. We were impressed with all of the “extra” touches such as a steam shower, well equipped kitchen, laundry unit and a well stocked wood burning fireplace. The property manager was super attentive, and communication was excellent. We can’t wait to come back here to stay during the ski season with our kids (note, the ski school drop off is downstairs!) 5 star experience for sure!

We loved our stay in this beautiful condo right by the slope. We come to Crested Butte 2-3 times a year and we will come back to this property. The ease of check in and check out, the quiet, the views, the cleanliness and upscale decor on the inside of the property as well as the professionalism and respect of the property management were all A+. The outside of the building is old but honestly it was part of the charm of CB experience. Thank you!
