Lovely property for our wedding party and rehearsal dinner! Plenty of space for hosting and lots of bedrooms. Beautiful view off the back of the barn with fantastic amenities!
This was a great renovated farmhouse that we used for a small family gathering. The house is spacious and comfortable. The barn and yard are fantastic for a celebration!
Great property. Well equipped. Comfortable. Close to Cooperstown and other sights and venues. Only flaw was road noise in the morning, but that was minor.
Our three families had a great time and plenty of space to hang out over the long weekend! The barn with pool table and extra living space was perfect for rainy days giving us extra space for the kids!

This is an amazing location to gather family and friends for a 70th birthday celebration. There's enough room for everyone, and the barn is where most of the day was spent. People enjoyed hanging out, playing pool, and taking in the beautiful view. The spacious, clean kitchen was fantastic for our gathering.
Nadia is a considerate and responsive host. Our extended family of eight had an enjoyable weekend stay in this lovely updated historic home. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for the kind review! You were great to host!
Beautiful old home in a fantastic location. Enough silverware and dishes for a large crowd, much needed air conditioning, and the comfiest couch we've ever had the pleasure of sitting upon. We also have never slept so well away from home - the beds are delightful. The only notes to be aware of - only the bunk room has window coverings (bring a sleep mask) and the stairs are very steep, narrow, and have a railing at the top that is extremely low.
We booked for our wedding weekend coming from Indiana. Nadia was extremely welcoming during the booking process. The house is huge, clean, and cozy. The activity barn was a huge hit with our kids and we loved having late night bonfires! We plan to book on future visits to the area. Highly recommend!!

Got a trip to Cooperstown with two or his buddies and their wives. Criteria was affordable place, close to Cooperstown that could sleep at least 7 and this place fit the bill and then some l. Plenty of space, beautiful barn, and beautiful yard. It was great that it had two inside living rooms and plenty of kitchen and dining room. Host were very communicative. Only tip I would leave for light sleepers is not all rooms have curtains

Hi Joe,
Thanks so much for the amazing review!!!!! Truly appreciate it!!! Your family was great host!
Nadia
The house was great and exactly what we needed! We came with 4 kids and 6 adults and had plenty of room! The large kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and save money on dining with both a huge dining room and large table in the barn to eat at. The Barn was great, corn hole and ping pong as well as just relaxing and taking in the amazing view from the back! We were centrally located to many attractions such as Cooperstown, Herkimer Mines, Howe and secret Caverns, The Teepee, Hyde House and Glimmer glass Lake to name a few. We had a great time and definitely will come back! Thank you for a great time!

Why they chose this property
I fell in love with this area because every season seems to bring something special, but fall is truly unforgettable. Watching the trees change, exploring the local antique shops, spending time around the many lakes and parks, and simply enjoying the peace and quiet of the backyard made me appreciate how special this part of Upstate New York really is.
What means the most to me, though, is owning a historic home here. There is something incredibly meaningful about caring for a house that has been part of the community for nearly two centuries. It makes me feel more connected to the history, the land, and the people who have called this area home before me. I love being able to share a little piece of that experience with our guests.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property truly special is the amount of space and privacy you get while still being close to everything the area has to offer. Our historic 1835 home sits on nearly 80 acres, giving guests room to spread out, relax, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. There’s even enough open space in the backyard to toss a football, play lawn games, or practice baseball with the family!
One of our favorite features is the beautiful three-story barn. We’ve transformed the main level into a fun gathering space with an 86-inch TV, ping pong, cornhole, string lights, and a large dining table—perfect for movie nights, rainy afternoons, or hanging out after a busy day exploring.
The property also offers beautiful country views, a fire pit, outdoor dining, a grill, plenty of parking, room for a boat trailer, and an EV charger. Inside, you’ll find the character of a nearly 200-year-old home combined with modern conveniences, giving you a stay that feels both historic and comfortable.
Best of all, you can enjoy the peace and privacy of the countryside without feeling isolated. We’re centrally located to Cooperstown-area attractions, lakes, golf, breweries, wineries, parks, antiquing, and more.
It’s not just a place to sleep between activities—it’s a place where your group can spend time together, make memories, and enjoy Upstate New York right from the property.
