A great property to visit Palo Alto or Stanford. Both are walking distance in a nice , clean, safe and beautiful neighborhood. And so quiet. The house has everything you could possibly need. So much better than getting a couple of rooms at a hotel!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
The house was close to downtown, which was nice because we could walk to restaurants.
Overall a comfortable stay. We had need of more adult sleeping arrangements. There are two bedrooms that accommodate adults, but small beds. Additional sleeping areas are in a converted garage, which our housemates indicated was not well insulated (can get hot/cold with changing weather).Overall, a nice place and excellent location close to amenities in Palo Alto. Would stay again with a small family or couple. As four adults, we made it work.

House was filthy with grease, insects, etc. Filled with the home owners toys, clothes, food etc. They moved out that morning so they could make money off of us. Tons of broken, filthy or tired items from appliances to drains and toilets to dishes etc. They did communicate but every 3-5 days and then stall to drag it out to NOT do anything. Like, havi g door dash send liquid draino after a week, and a real plumber 10 days later who came in when my wife was alone, asleep. Didn't knock, just had the key. Unannounced, 2 men with my sleeping wife! Insane!! *Landlord asked us to leave the key for the plumber and we didn't so they just came in anyway, at 7am because they felt like it.We got ripped off. Thoroughly dissatisfied and disappointed. We paid premium pricing for low grade housing. Feel scammed. Now, it was a real home, decent location and wasn't disease ridden, just totally under cleaned, not maintained etc. It's not a professionally managed, operated or working property. It's a university faculty member making impromptu money off of unsuspecting renters.
