Riverfront Home, close to beach and restaurants

This vintage riverfront home is located on the banks of the beautiful Russian River. Riverside Hideaway is a guest cottage located downstairs from the main house on the property. There is a private entrance, private covered porch w/gas BBQ overlooking the river and sunny partially fenced yard. River access is by stairs to dock. TOT #725N

The living room features a free standing gas fireplace, wood floors, full size sofa bed and entertainment center with cable TV. Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds (queen size) (including extra down comforters) and TV in master bedroom. Bathroom is Jack and Jill style with stall shower. Kitchen has been remodeled and has newer maple cabinets, granite countertops, refrigerator, gas range and microwave. More photos available upon request. Kayaks can be available upon request.

This home is within walking distance to downtown Monte Rio, grocery store, public beach, boat rentals, movie theater, tennis courts and restaurants. Northwood Golf Course is apx. one mile away. The Pacific Coast (Jenner) is within a 15 minute drive. Guerneville is 5 miles east. We are located within a short driving distance to many Sonoma County wineries. Quaint Occidental is 10 minutes away.

Great location on the sunny side of the river with a great dock and deck overlooking the river. Perfect for a three day stay for a family of four.

We loved using the kayaks during our stay! We walked to the local beach and loved the nearby coffee shop. Was a great spot to explore the Russian River area and we would defiantly stay again.

Totally worth it to stay here. Place is very cute. While the bathroom is small and the houses are close together, the big bedrooms and well appointed kitchen are great. Sitting on the back deck and using the kayaks right from the dock were our favorite parts.

I grew up in San Francisco but spent many weekends and all summer in this home in Monte Rio. My dream was to move to the Russian River and purchase this home back as my parents had sold it years before. It has been lovingly renovated keeping the old river charm.

Why they chose this property

This home was my families summer home in the 60's and 70's. I purchased it in 1998 and have enjoyed restoring the home. I have many fond memories of summers spent at this home in Monte Rio.

I enjoy watching the wildlife along the river, kayaking or just relaxing on the deck.
