Had a great stay.

This rental unit was very clean, well equipped as far as kitchen pots, pans & utensils. Location was great with a short walk to the beach. Master bed was very comfortable. We walked to and enjoyed Sliders restaurant several times. The only recommendations would be to add a garbage disposal and some basic spices like salt, pepper, etc. But, overall it’s very nice and we will probably rent again.

Fernandina Beach is Paradise!

This was our first visit to the area and it won’t be our last. Although there is a little walk (5-6 mins) to the beach, this condo is perfectly located. It sits in the back corner close to the pool and tennis courts. The condo was very clean and was very spacious for the 2 adults and 3 teenagers we had in it all week. Our hosts were gracious throughout the entire rental process and were never more than a text away. I would highly recommend the condo and area to anyone looking for a relaxing, less congested vacation spot. Fernandina Beach just may be Paradise!!!

Pros and cons

Pros: The condo was well appointed with kitchen items, towels, laundry supplies etc. Proximity to the beach made the walk easy. Cons: The condo complex overall is outdated and in need of many repairs. Being on the bottom floor is easily accessible; however we were kept awake many nights with noise above us. We had multiple bugs in the unit. The bathtubs would not work to stop the water, this made trying to give a young child a bath extremely hard. The primary bathroom seems to have poor ventilation. It constantly smelled musty and the shower liner has mold all around the bottom.

Very nicely remodeled property close to beach

The property was very clean and stocked with most every item you would need. Linens were included which is sometimes difficult to find in a VRBO. The check in process was simple and the keyless entry was way convenient. The only downside was the actual location. It is a little far with a toddler to walk and tote all that is needed for a day at the beach. Otherwise fantastic place and would stay again!

Met expectations

The unit itself was recently renovated. It is lovely, tastefully decorated, and very peaceful. Also, the location is nice. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds had nice linens with extra blankets if needed, and the host was very responsive. She checked in with me via text several times to make sure all was ok and I didn't have any questions. The unit was also very clean. Everything was spelled out very clearly. The pool was also very nice. Great biking area. My only constructive criticism would be that I could not figure out how to use the key code. Some instructions upon check in would solve that issue.
