Peaceful, quiet and private gated/waterfront community at the tip of the Florida Keys (Mile Marker 112) in Manatee Cove. Easy access to Miami International Airport and minutes away from restaurants and outdoor entertainment in Key Largo. This tiny house is located directly on the water and is the perfect spot for a couples getaway or a family fishing trip at the third largest living coral barrier reef system in the world

Bring your boat, rent a boat or simply enjoy our two kayaks on the property in this waterfront oasis. Explore the shallow water inlets or the nearby sound and watch for the Manatee or Dolphins which frequent these waters. The property sits across from protected mangroves at the boundary of the Everglades National Park. Private 41ft dock on a deep water canal with a 10k Ibs boat lift. Fish cleaning table and fishing poles included... catch your dinner right from the dock! New underwater fish light creates a visible aquarium off the dock at night attracting bait fish and larger predictory fish. LED dock post lamps, cafe lights in tiki and large LED lamp for evening cookouts. Easy access to Manatee Bay and Barnes Sound, less than 30 minutes from open ocean. 3 beach areas within 5 minute boat ride. Tiki hut with fan/charcoal BBQ, TV and bar seating. Washer and Dryer in unit.

House has a full master bedroom with queen bed downstairs, upstairs loft with queen bed (low clearance in loft) and a pull out couch in the living room. Ideal space for single couple, two couples or a small family.

Parking for 1 vehicle on premise. Additional Guest Parking for Vehicles/Trailers is available first come first serve in nearby visitor spaces.

Single paved community boat ramp available and community pool next to the property. If you plan to bring your boat, please contact the host.

High speed WiFi for remote work or streaming.

Restaurants are within 5-10 min to Gilbert’s and Buzzards Roost. Gilbert's has a beach, live music, dockage for boats, fuel dock and a great tiki bar on the water.

Sundowners is about 12 min away with excellent views of the sunset, dockage for boats and live entertainment,. Also visit Senor Frijoles next door, with outdoor dining, Tex-Mex food and excellent Margaritas. Alabama Jacks is located across Card Sound, easy access by boat, live music and voted the best Conch Fritters in the Keys.

There are several boat & fishing charters as well as paddleboard, jet ski & boat rentals around Key Largo. Many will deliver watercraft directly to the property. The neighborhood is also centrally located with access to Everglades National Park to the west and Miami to the North as well as some of the worlds best fishing and dive spots through out the upper and middle Keys. Easy day trips to Key West and the lower Keys as well.

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is approximately 10 mins away at mile marker 102 offering beach/swimming areas, kayaking and canoeing as well as fishing & snorkeling trips to the reefs.

Don't hesitate, book it! Great location on the water with manatees and tarpon swimming by daily. The tiki bar/TV area is just awesome. A short drive to several restaurants on the water and close to places you can buy fresh seafood if you want to grill your own. The house is very nicely decorated and was clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive and great with communication.

Just as the other reviews have said, this place was as described and we really enjoyed our stay. You can tell the hosts really take pride in making sure you have what you need, including very detailed information about the area and things to do. The property has everything, is clean and Sean the host is friendly and available for any questions or help during your stay. The boat lift, dock, and access to the water was perfect. I highly recommend this spot.

Wonderful location, friendly neighbors. Loved having access to the pool, too. Our hosts were very helpful when we were trying to get an Amazon order delivered. The house was stuck with everything we needed. We booked this due to its access to the mangroves, but my husband‘s shoulder surgery took that activity off the table. Oh well. Maybe next time.

Awesome tiny home on the water

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Kokomo! It was the perfect winter getaway for my wife and I. Right on the water (canal) looking across at mangroves, it was peaceful and refreshing. Inside was well appointed and clean. Great hosts!

Fantastic location and Amenities. First time in the Keys for my wife and I. We brought our boat and the lift was the deciding factor, works great. The submerged light in front of the dock provided lots of marine life entertainment, and we saw Manatee and Porpoise in the canal. Definitely recommend!!

The PERFECT Get Away

This wonderful property was spotless and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen and all the utilities you could need. Outside, there was a charming tiki hut with a barbecue, outdoor TV, and a convenient fish-cleaning area. Two high-quality kayaks, complete with life preservers and paddles, were ready for use. The underwater fish light right off the deck was an amazing touch.Sean was always available and great to work with. He even helped us reserve a 21' Open Fisher Man at a discounted rate, and his crew had it docked right at our door, ready to go! His recommendations on where to go and what to do were spot-on.I can’t wait to come back — hopefully as soon as possible! Ed

Enjoyable and Relaxing Vacation

Loved the view! Saw lots of wildlife - small curly-tail lizards, iguanas that swam across the water from the mangroves (and came up on the dock), pelicans, big fish late at night by the light in the water, shrimp, crab and I thought I saw a saltwater crocodile too! We loved hanging out in the tiki hut with a cold beer most days. We also took out our 13’ inflatable catamaran a couple of times on the water - it was so much fun! We also enjoyed watching all the other residents taking their boats in and out of the waterway and listening to their music as they went by. I love the 3 coconut palm trees on the property! The house was small, nicely decorated and had everything you needed (big fridge, washer and dryer, A/C). The upstairs bedroom is perfect for children or for additional storage. Thank you Sean and Chelsea for making our trip so memorable! We were so happy that we got to meet you both, along with your children. Next time we come to Key Largo, we will stay here again! Thanks! Relaxing Getaway

Our stay in Key Largo was overall awesome! The booking was super easy and communication with the owners, Sean and Chelsea, was prompt and professional. They were accommodating to all our requests and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We were initially concerned about bad weather coming in, and when we contacted them about our concerns they left all options open to us! As it turned out, we ended up with perfect weather! When we could not find any grill utensils at the house to use with the grill we contacted Sean and Chelsea to ask if they had any for us to use. They responded right away and ordered a nice grill set and had it delivered, without us asking! Our favorite parts of the house was the front porch overlooking the water, the dock and the tiki hut. We spent hours sitting on the front porch looking out for manatees and other wildlife, fishing and kayaking from the dock and watching movies in the tiki hut! The house was clean and comfortable. We were happy to see there was a full size refrigerator and freezer, a full size range and oven as well as a washer and dryer tucked into a little house. We also enjoyed the little pool adjacent to the house. Overall a great stay!

Awesome location!

My husband and I celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary here, it is convenient to restaurants, stores, etc. We fished every day, with the boat literally 20 feet out the back door on a lift it was a no worry, easy way to just enjoy. Wonderful tiki hut and the light underwater off the dock was great watching the fish at night. Perfect location for a couple!!

Wonderful house on the water

We rented this house on the water for a week vacation. It was a perfect stay. We brought our boat and it was great being steps from the water every morning. Being able to use the boat lift was a plus so the boat didn’t sit in the water all week. The area surrounding was so nice on the boat. We found so many nice private spots to stop along the way. We were just a few miles from the gulf coast and it was so pretty. The house was fully stocked and very comfortable. We cooked in a few nights and used the grill. My 22 year old daughter slept in the loft area and loved it. We spent every evening in the tiki hut just outside and had a great time. There is a TV and lights so it was very enjoyable. There were many large fish in the underwater light We saw manatees float by every evening and every morning. We watched a family of dolphins playing in the open water just outside the neighborhood. It was just perfect. Sean and Chelsea were the best host and allowed us to park the trailer at another house they owned near marina. They responded so quickly to any questions we had. Cannot wait to return to this little gem in Key Largo. Thank you so much.

Our Key Largo Stay!

Sean and his wife were by far the best VRBO host we have had the pleasure of vacationing with. A tropical storm was heading our way and he allowed us to come a day in advance without additional charges so we could avoid driving in the high winds. This was a very kind gesture knowing we were also trailering our boat. The place was perfect and clean, and made for a great family vacation of boating, fishing and dining. Will certainly book again.

What a wonderful house! The property owners were great to work with and very attentive to our questions. The house was very clean and being on the canal was a plus. We saw manatee, caught plenty of fish including sharks! Short 10 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Key Largo. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great Staycation for S. Fla

We live in Ft Laud and own a little boat (20’) . Drove the boat from Ft Laud to Largo. Great adventure with easy access to supplies and protected waters needed to return home safely.
