Walk right out to the lake from the living room and 2 of the 4 bedrooms also walk right out to the lake. Ping pong, Kayaks, Foosball, Daybed Swing on the dock, 2021 Bennington 22 Pontoon Boat is available to rent to guests for $495 per day or discounted rate to for use of boat during your entire stay. It is a huge advantage to have a boat ready and waiting for use day or night while you are at the house and when you rent our boat we include skis, tow toys, wakeboard, kneeboard, ropes, premium lifejackets, etc. (It is suggested that you go online to get your Virginia boaters license).
Nearly everything is provided for you including luxury organic 100% cotton premium linens, and large luxury bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. Also provided are hand soaps, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, k-cup coffee pods, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Prepare for a truly relaxing and fun vacation!!

The way the rental works for the boat is:

1.All users sign DocuSign rental agreement that will be emailed (I need names and email addresses) Previous boating experience is required. Virgina boaters license is highly suggested. These can be obtained online at a number of websites for about $40 and include an online course which can take a few hours but well worth the time.
2.Security deposits and rental fees are vemoed to @Robin-Ringer-3 no later than the evening of the day you arrive. (this gives you a chance to inspect the watercraft before committing to the rental) Security deposits are returned no later than 72 hours after departure.
3. A rental day is a full 24 hours and starts at 5am daily.
4.Boat rentals includes use of all tow ropes, towables, waterskis (except the pink slalom ski), wakeboards, etc. (Renters who are using their own boats do not have access to these items.)
5.Gas level should be left full (I will reimburse you if gas is less than full at the start of your rental-snap pictures of gas gauges at start of rental and text to 336-542-8833)

Gorgeous property

We loved our stay here. Even though it was too chilly to use the boat and jet skis, our family enjoyed the beauty of the views and comforts of the home. We visited the alpaca farm, which was so much fun, and had some nice meals out. The yard was perfect for our annual Easter Egg Hunt!

THE most beautiful lake front property!Well maintained, gorgeous and literally they have EVERYTHING you could need or want, including amazon connection in every room, chargers for every phone, etc…It was only my BF and myself, but I couldn’t help but to rent it, even though it was way more house than we needed. I fell in love with the home and the property. The hostess was just lovely and I could reach her easily when I needed to locate the fuse box, which was no issue at all. I will be renting this home again soon. Thank you so much for allowing me to rest and relax at your beautiful home!

Winter Getaway

Home was just as pictured. Clean, crisp, comfy beds. Plenty of towels and fluffy pillows. Enjoyed fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Had a great time just playing games, toasting marshmallows, listening to good music and reconnecting with the people we love. If you really want to relax, this is the place to be. Robin was helpful and always responded quickly.

Magnificent

The property and furnishings were really well done and exceeded our expectations. The property owner was extremely nice, helpful, and responsive (really great). This property is beautiful and I really can’t say enough wonderful things about it. The location was perfect on the lake. My family (wife, 8 year old boy, 6 year old girl) and I had a wonderful Easter at the property and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare an Easter meal. My wife mentioned more than once how she could stay there all summer long. I highly recommend this property and I can’t wait to return!

Amazing Lakehouse Experience

We had a wonderful time at Smith Moutain Lake at this property! Everything was clean and all appliances and ammenities were upgraded in great condition. Just as advertised, The towels and linens were luxurious! The house was well stocked with containers, pots, pans and spices. They even included soap, dish soap, laundry detergent and trash bags as well as T.P. and paper towels. It definitely helps with packing for the lake! Lots of lake floats and 2 kayaks available as well.

PERFECT

Robin was an amazing host and her decorating skills will leave you speechless when you enter the beautifully decorated home. The beds were so comfortable that it was difficult to get out of them in the morning even though we're all early risers. The views are breathtaking and the water is clean and inviting. The house has everything you'll need and more including fun games for the kids if it rains. We will be back! We VRBO on Smith Mountain Lake every year. As we pulled out of the driveway we all agreed this is the only home we ever want to stay at and will be planning our next trip based on their availability.

Beautiful stay - They thought of just about everything

The details they put into making this home a wonderful vacation home is impressive. Cozy, beautifully decorated and perfectly located on the water. Would certainly come here again! Only thing I would note for future folks with more than two people, the hot tub is a 2-Person tub. Very nice, but something to be mindful of if you plan to bring a larger group. It was perfect for my wife and I. Also, buy your groceries before you get to the cabin. Closest store is about 15 mins away and they have basic needs, but the closest Food Lion (larger grocery store) is about 30 mins away. Highly recommend! Hosts are fantastic and very responsive.

This property is amazing…the host has thought of everything!!! We enjoyed relaxing on the dock, a quick boat ride across the lake for lunch, devine cozy beds and pillows, awesome lighted mirrors, a “The Frame” TV, endless towels, relaxing in the hot tub, Alexa everywhere, amazing (I know I’m using this word too much, but it is exactly appropriate lol) water pressure (because that is important to some :) toiletries and hair dryers, air purifiers (I love white noise so we left them on)…. Just everything! Thank you Robin for letting us enjoy your lovely home…we will be back!!!

Beautiful house, beautiful view!

Spent a wonderful, relaxing long October weekend here! The house is beautiful and has everything you need, and the views of the lake cannot be beat! We enjoyed kayaking, cornhole, and the kids loved playing in the small beach at the edge of the water- the water is very clear and shallow. We also toasted marshmallows on the patio while the sun came down over the water. We were there with my elderly father who is in a wheelchair and he found the house easy to navigate. We did not use the boat but still enjoyed sitting out on the dock for happy hour!

Fantastic House and Boat

Robin's place was fantastic, my friends and I had a lovely time all week. We opted to rent the boat as well and were so glad we did because the convenience of having the boat right at the dock of the lakehouse rental saved a ton of time and allowed for easy pick up and drop off of folks. Great attention to detail with plenty of indoor and outdoor towels, comfortable beds and linens, and instructions. Robin was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our booking process. The house is comfortable, beautiful and has everything you need. We floated in the lake everyday, sat on the beautiful back patio and enjoyed the gorgeous lake view. It was perfect for our family to have time together. The owner was responsive and extremely accommodating. While we were there we talked about going back to this beautiful house in the fall or winter.

Amazing home and beautiful sunsets every night! The home owner went above and beyond to assure that you have everything you need from coffee, trash bags, toilet paper, towels, and shampoo. The only thing you need to pack are your clothes!!! We will definitely be back!!
